For some, cloning (克隆) is a problem, since it means that the awkward day     1     somebody proposes cloning people is unavoidable. For others, it will help medical researchers mass-produce animals for     2     (they) experiments.

That sort of cloning is the goal of Dr Sun Qiang of the Chinese Academy of Science. In 2018, Dr Sun made headlines by     3     (raise) a crab-eating monkey. For thousands of years, people have told fables (寓言)     1     (teach) a lesson or to pass on wisdom. Fables were part of the oral tradition of many early cultures, and the well-known Aesop’s fables date to the     2     (six) century, B. C. Yet, the form of the fable still has values today,     3     Rachel Carson says in “A Fable for Tomorrow.”

Carson uses a simple, direct style common to fable. Sanfutie, or Sanfu medicinal patch, is a bandage with traditional Chinese herbal medicine. New research has found that fruit and vegetable consumption and exercise can increase levels     1     happiness.

While     2     link between lifestyle and well-being has been     3     (previous) documented and often used in public health campaigns to encourage healthier diets and exercise, new findings show that there is also positive causation(因果关系) from lifestyle to life satisfaction.

A group of musicians from China, Germany and Switzerland joined hands in a special concert to celebrate the 100-day countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The event, also known as China Media Group(CMG) China-Europe Music Festival,    1    (hold) under the theme “The World in Unity”.

It’s part of a program of special events running up to the Winter Olympics, which will begin on February 4, 2022. In March, 2018, I travelled to Kakuma, Kenya, with UNICEF, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund,     1     (learn) what it’s like for refugee (难民) kids to live and go to school there.

At the Kakuma Reception Center,     2     refugees stay when they first arrive, I met 15-year old Jackson, who had come from South Sudan without family. At the Furaha Center playground, children     3     (call) out in delight while being pushed on swings    4     caring adults.
