Many teenagers feel lonely. You are not alone. In fact, it is very     1     for teenagers to feel lonely. This feeling is considered as growing pains — the difficulties that teenagers face while growing up.

As teenagers     2    , it becomes harder for them to deal with the changes both inside and outside. They experience great physical (身体的) changes. They grow     3     and their voices get deeper, among many other developments.

Along with these outside changes, there come many     4     changes. Many boys always want to take risks, but may not have the ability to make right     5    . When girls try to deal with their strong feelings, they often     6     someone to talk to.

In the social world, as teenagers get older, they try to depend     7     themselves. They may also need love badly at the same time. This will     8     trouble. They often question     9     they are and what they should do.

Starting here,    4     followed the great Yangtze River of the brilliant Chu Civilization. and lake network to expand businesses throughout the entire country. In the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)， Hankou became one of the four best-known towns in the country. For centuries, Wuhan has been the center of trade and transportation in     5     China. Today it is     6     important center in central China and a feature of Yangtze River cruises(航行) for sightseers and businessmen     7     from Sichuan to Shanghai or Hong Kong.

The uprising voice of the Revolution of 1911 was     8     here firstly. The revolution aimed to overthrow the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) and establish the Republican     9     government, is one of the     10     events in modern China.

If you’re in Wuhan, an absolute must-see is the Yellow Crane Tower. Regarded as one of the Four Great Towers of China, the tower stands on the banks of the Yangtze River at the top of Snake Hill. It is very beautiful and     1     cultural significance led to its being made the symbol of Wuhan city. It goes without saying     2     it is one of Hubei’s most popular tourist attractions

According to legend, Yellow Crane Tower     3     by the family of an old pot house (酒馆) owner living in Wuhan city long ago, named Old Xin. One day, a     4     dressed Taoist priest came to the pot house and asked for some wine. Old Xin paid no attention to     5     for him, his son was very kind and gave the Taoist some wine without     6     money. The Taoist priest visited the pot house regularly for half a year when one day the Taoist said to the son that in order to repay his     7    , he would like to draw a crane     8     the wall of the pot house,     9     would dance at his request. When people in the city heard of this, they came to the pot house     10     the dancing crane. The Xin family soon became rich and they built the Yellow Crane Tower as a symbol of gratitude to the Taoist priest.

The world’s first ship with     1    intelligent unmanned system was launched in Guangzhou. The ship     2     the world’s first scientific research ship     3    can work by remote control in open waters. It will provide an     4    tool for China     5    out marine scientific research and develop the marine economy.

The equipment on the ship is highly localized (本十化的), because the key parts have all been     6     developed by Chinese scientists. The ship has a     7    of 88. 5 meters, width of 14 meters and a depth of 6. 1 meters. With a broad deck, the ship can carry a dozen different observation instruments. Construction of the ship     8    on July 20, 2022, and it is expected to be put into use by the end of this year. In the future, the use o the ship will be     9    great importance for getting real-time ocean observation information,     10    the level of ocean observation.

Last year, I returned to Fuling, a river town near the Yangtze River. I visited the White Crane Ridge Underwater Museum. It’s a very strange museum    1     is under 40 meters of water, I knew its director even before the museum and the Three Gorges Dam     2    .

I taught English at the local college in the town of Fuling     3     1996 to 1998. Fuling was then quiet. Foreigners were very rare(稀小). When I ate my lunch in the town centre, often a crowd came to watch me. There weren’t any traffic     4     I couldn’t find a car.

During my visit, I     5     some of my old students. They told me about their old classmates, many of whom had left Fuling. I also visited Huang Zongming and his brother.    6     I lived here, they were fishermen. When the first stage of the dam was     7    ,they left their home. I was sure that their lives were     8     changed. But now l discover that everything is almost the same for    9    .They are still fishermen and go     10     every day. The fishing on the river is still good.The dam has not changed some things in Fuling.
