4 . Need a Job This Summer?
The provincial government and its partners offer many programs to help students find summer jobs. The deadlines and what you need to apply depend on the program.

Jobs for Youth
If you are a teenager living in certain parts of the province, you could be eligible(符合条件)for this program, which provides eight weeks of paid employment along with training.
Who is eligible: Youth 15-18 years old in select communities (社区).
Summer Company
Summer Company provides students with hands-on business training and awards of up to $3,000 to start and run their own summer businesses.
Who is eligible: Students aged 15-29, returning to school in the fall.
Stewardship Youth Ranger Program
You could apply to be a Stewardship Youth Ranger and work on local natural resource management projects for eight weeks this summer.

North Beach, Florida
Warm, clear water, white sand, and nature activities helped this beach rise to the top of our list. North Beach, near St. Petersburg, has a large lagoon (泻湖) that doesn’t get above 3 feet deep. It’s like a natural pool for kids.
Spend the night in the Loews Don CeSar where families can keep busy with movies and toys, books, and DVDs to borrow. There’s a drop-off kids’ club for 4- to 12-year-olds.
Coligny Beach, South Carolina
Coligny stood out for its calm water. And the beach’s hard-packed sand is perfect for kids to build castles or ride. You can rent bikes from a nearby Shore Beach Service stand.

Basketball Club
Students will be able to develop their basketball skills further and have the opportunity to compete in basketball games with members from other international schools in Beijing. The club will be available to 10-16 members from Grades 5 to 8, and will practice twice weekly.
Public Speaking Club
The Public Speaking Club will be centered around the personal development of students along with developing public speaking skills. The club will be interested in focusing on all skills in delivering better speeches and improving communication skills. The club will be available to 10-12 members from Grades 7 to 12, and will meet once weekly (Wednesday).
Yoga Club
Yoga not only improves balance, flexibility, and joint stability, but also serves as a peaceful escape from the stress of daily life. Our students will have the chance to physically exercise while reducing some stress from their life. Media Club
The Media Club teaches students the basics of journalism.
