Enter the competition most respected and admired in the industry for creativity in illustration, the Communication Arts Illustration Competition. What To Enter With
Any illustration first published or produced from Jan. 2022 to Jan. 2023 is qualified. Entries may originate from any country. Descriptions in English are necessary for the judges to read.
Entries Can Be Submitted In The Following Formats
Digital Images: RGB images in JPG format with a maximum file size of 2 MB. GIF images may be livelier, but would be turned down, and so would the PNG ones.
Motion Entries: In MOV, MP4 or MPG format, with a maximum file size of 500 MB.

All are welcome, including competitive runners, joggers, and walkers wanting to enjoy time with friends and loved ones. Registration ends on November 22, 2023.
The FeeThere is no official race fee. You can give as much or as little as you want. However-a $40 minimum donation is required to get our soft T-shirt. Our goal is to feed as many families in Central Ohio as we can. You can help by running our race, spreading the word, or making a donation. Scholastic Kids Press is a group of talented kid reporters, ages 10-14, from across the country and around the world. Their stories appear online and in Scholastic magazines, which reach more than 25 million students in classrooms nationwide.

We are now accepting Kid Reporter applications for the 2023-2024 program year. Learn more and download the application here.
The application to join Scholastic Kids Press includes writing a news story, story ideas and a personal article. Editors select Kid Reporters every year based on writing ability, interviewing skills and attention to detail.
To be considered, applicants must be between 10-14. Students in any part of the world are welcome to apply.

Mass media refers to the sources of information and news that reach a large audience. Besides traditional media, technology has changed and there are many new media introduced to convey information to the masses such as: books and magazines, televisions, Internet videos, films and documentaries.
• What is the importance of mass media?
Different types of mass media provide us with various types of political, religious, economic and social related news and information.

10 . 2022 Kids News Short Story Writing Competition
Welcome to the 2022 Kids News Short Story Writing Competition! It is an annual competition which starts at 9 am on Monday, September 5. If you have a creative mind and fantastic stories, hurry up and submit your story before October 28.
The competition is free and open to students from kindergarten to Grade 9. The competition has two age groups. For kids aged 11 years and over, their short story must be between 500 and 1, 000 words. For those aged 10 and under, their short story must be between 250 and 500 words. You are supposed to write a short story on any theme or topic of your choice.
The first prize winner of each age group will get 10 copies of their short story, which are published into a printed book with a personally designed cover, plus an iPad. There is also a book reader as a prize for the runner-up (亚军) and a HarperCollins book pack for the third winner in each age group.
Teachers can submit their students’ stories through the online entry form (参赛表格). A consent form (同意书), signed by the student’s parent or guardian, must be attached to the entry form.
Unless advertised differently, the prize winners will be informed by phone, email or mail at the end of the competition period and by no later than December 30. Winners’ names will be published on www. kidsnews.com.au.
