2 . Women’s Poetry Competition 2024
Welcome to Mslexia, the only magazine where every reader is a potential contributor too. Almost every part of the magazine is open to submission by any woman writer. Our competition is open to unpublished poems of any length. Your £10 entry fee allows you to submit up to three poems. The judge this year is the outstanding and award-winning writer Pascale Petit.
Prizes
1st: £2,000; 2nd: £500; 3rd: £250 (Each prize goes for one person.)
Unpublished Poetry Prize for the best poem by a previously unknown poet: £250.
The four winners, plus sixteen additional finalists will have their poems published in the May issue of Mslexia.

Mesa Verde National Park
This park celebrates the history of the Pueblo people in southwestem United States. Visitors will find over 4, 000 historical sites here, including 600 cliffdwellings (悬崖屋). Some of the best cliff dwellings, such as CliffPalace and Balcony Houserequire the tickets for guided tours. These cliff dwellings present a great opportunity for visitors to learn about the history of the region. Besides, adults and children can enjoy hikes, which end in eliffdwelling overlooks.

8 . There are a variety of museums in London. Of course, there are world-famous names like the British Museum and Natural History Museum. But then there are many tiny plain peculiar museums in every corner of the city.
18 Stafford Terrace
The Kensington address provides an opportunity to see a late-Victorian, middle-class home that has survived largely unchanged. The house was passed on from one generation of the family to the next and almost all the original decoration remains unchanged. The house closes during summer for maintenance.

Brunel Museum
An exhibition celebrates the Thames Tunnel as the birthplace of the tube system, and the Great Eastern steamship as the first modern ocean liner. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and International Landmark Site above the oldest tunnel in the Underground, which tells the story of the men who worked in the dark, dodging flames and raw sewage every day.

The Cinema Museum
This collection of artifacts and equipment telling the history of cinema from the 1890s to the present is open by tour while the museum raises funds to secure its future. Among the displays are cinema seats and signs, stills and posters, projectors and other machinery.

Dennis Sever s’ House
Dennis Severs’ House is a time capsule attraction in which visitors are immersed in a unique form of theatre. The tour takes you through the cellar, kitchen, dining room, smoking room and upstairs to the bedrooms. It feels as though the inhabitants had abandoned the rooms only moments before. The Dennis Severs House tour is unsuitable for children as tours are conducted in silence.

Introduction
The Maryland Science Center is basically a museum, but it gives everyone a chance to learn through experience and play, rather than just glance at an exhibit.
Activities
You can learn about various topics, including outer space, the human body, dinosaurs, electricity, marine (海洋的) biology, energy, and much more. You can also take part in the interactive activities, such as racing bubbles, digging for dinosaur fossils, using puzzle pieces to construct cars, and so much more.
The Davis Planetarium (天文馆)
At the Davis Planetarium, you can be back in a chair and look at the stars while still inside the Science Center. The stars will appear on the ceiling of the theatre as you watch them.
There are different shows to catch at the Davis Planetarium. You can learn about the galaxy and astronomy during the Dark Matters show. Learn about the stars and planets during the Sky Live show. The One World One Sky show allows children to explore the stars. The Live from the Sun show will teach you all about the hot sun.
The Kids Room
For children, they can’t miss the Kids Room. They will be able to play in a water area, construct dams and water towers, push buttons, ring doorbells, build with blocks, and more, and definitely they will learn a lot. In addition, there is also an area for kids of two years old and under, where they can crawl, walk and explore safely with soft toys.

10 . Join Our Sports Camp
Ever created a whole sports plan for yourself only to give up a few days later? If you’re trying to keep it, join us! The camp is 100% volunteer-run and totally non-profit.
What we’ll help you do:
·Create a plan which fits you. Start small, and then gradually increase difficulty.
·Find the time to exercise. Even if it’s only a 10-minute walk, any exercise is enough to get you started.
·Try various activities to find one that you love. After doing them more, you start looking forward to your exercise.
·Find ways to make exercising more fun. Try changing the places where you work out by playing tennis on the playground or doing yoga(瑜伽) in the gym—anything to get yourself excited to workout.
