Jiezi Ancient Town is located in Chongzhou, Sichuan Province. “Jiezi” means small street. In the Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties, it was called “Hengqu”,     1     means across Weijiang River. Due to wars, the lively town turned into     2     street along the river in 1615 in the Ming Dynasty. The local people set this street a new name “Jiezi Chang” for marketing. Hence, it got “Jiezi”.

A collection of tombs dating from the Han Dynasty to the Six Dynasties period were discovered in Wulong District of Southwest China’s Chongqing. Dujiangyan is an ancient irrigation system,     1    (locate) in the Min River Valley, Sichuan Province, China. It     2    (build) by a governor named Li Bing and his son, who have been admired by Chinese for over 2,000 years.
