The Cultural Landscape of Old Tea Forests of the Jingmai Mountain in Pu’er     1     (gain) World Heritage Site status (地位) on September 17th, becoming     2     first World Heritage Site with the theme of tea.

Li Qun, director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, promised that China will continue making efforts to better manage the site, and guide local communities     3     (protect) the old tea forests. “It is     4     (we) plan to strengthen international cooperation and take more responsibilities in the World Heritage circle,” he said.
