Gather around when the Dapper Dans come to town! Wearing their colorful suits, straw hats and taps, this 4-man group sings an amusing selection of Disney tunes including Yankee Doodle Dandy, Mr Sandman and If You’re Happy and You Know It.

Disney Junior Dance Party, Hollywood Land

Hours: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:15 pm (18 minutes per period)

You’ll sing, dance, catch bubbles and see Doc Mcstuffins and Timon in person! The DJ plays songs you know from classic Disney Junior shows. The stars of Mickey and the Roadter Racers—Mickey and Minnie—will be driving in from Hot Dog Hills.

Mickey’s Parade, Mickey’s Toontown

Hours: 11:30 am, 3:30 pm (36 minutes)

Watch as music from classic Disney movies come alive. Mickey strikes up the band and leads the way. Joining Mickey are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Pals from popular Disney films. Best of all, you’re encouraged to join in the celebration!

The French

Most places in Canada are English-speaking, but Montreal is different. It is a city run by the French and for the French. If you want to work there, you have to speak French. The French and the English generally stay apart from each other. Most of the English can’t speak French and don’t want to learn; most of the French don’t like to speak English. However, it is this “conflict” of cultures that makes Montreal interesting.

Food

The best and unique Canadian food comes from the French. For example, you can find “poutine” - a tasty quick snack. This French invention is my personal favorite, although I must warn you that it isn’t for everyone. The best way to experience poutine is to go north of Montreal to one of the ski resorts. Spend all day skiing. Then, when your body aches all over, go to a mountain bar with friends and have a hot chocolate and a plate of poutine. You will understand why it’s the best food in the world.

Music & Cinema

Montreal is also great for music. There’s a famous jazz festival in the summer. You need a pass for most of the shows, which are usually performed outdoors during the day and night. But wherever you are in Montreal, you can hear the music while you are walking in the streets.

■Camber Sands

The impressive dunes（沙丘）system that makes Camber Sands the south coast's most Arabian-looking beach destination is fled with wonders. A number of “desert” films were shot here, including Cary On Follow That Camel.

Getting there: one hour 40 minutes by train from London St Pancras International to Rye, with a change at Ashford and a short bus ride to the beach; about two hours by car.

■Tankerton Beach

Tankerton Beach offers lovely views. When you've had your fill of beach time, it's time for a bellyful of the town's native oysters（牡蛎）; head for Harbour Street and High Street for a fantastic selection of places to try them.

Getting there: one hour 20 minutes by train from London Victoria; about one hour 40 minutes by car.

■West Wittering

A huge Blue Flag beach makes this West Wittering one of the south coast's finest for all kinds of beach activities. You can get involved in sunbathing and safe swimming (lifeguards patrol（巡逻） here in the summer months), go rock-pooling or just explore the ecology of the beach.

Getting there: one hour 30 minutes by train from London Victoria to Chichester, plus a bus ride to the beach; about two hours by car.

■Dungeness

Rediscover your childhood on a steam railway, explore strange World War I radar devices and discover old railroad car in this most magic place of Dungeness. There's some wonderful landscaping to enjoy, especially filmmaker Derek Jarman's separated home and garden.

Getting there: one hour by train from London St Pancras International to Folk stone, with a one hour 30 minute bus ride to Dungeness; about two hours by car.
