Last Sunday, Tom and I paid the visit to Neijiang. We began by touring Daqian Museum, where is located by the beautiful Tuojiang River. Since I was born and brought up in Neijiang, so I acted as his tour guides. For lunch, we tried some special Neijiang noodles. Tom spoke high of Neijiang beef noodles. After lunch, I suggested Tom boats in the Tuojiang River. When we decided leave, the traditional paper cutting catch our eyes. Tom bought some paper cuts as souvenirs. Tiredly, we got back to the hotel. What a wonderful day!
This experience with him undoubtedly improved our friendship. On fact, I began to realize that as Chinese, we should appreciate our own culture so as to make these treasures last forever.

How is it going in the UK? I was planning a trip to London with my parents next month.

Last summer, I was lucky enough spend two weeks in Xiamen. That was a travel experience what made a deep impression on me. When I first arrived here, I was unfamiliar with the surroundings and felt like we didn’t belong to the city. That’s why I didn’t know my way around. I was anxiously all the time. However, when I finally got relaxing enough, I was able to appreciate the buildings and the richness the city offered. I finally felt at the home, regardless of be in a strange city. Everything I saw and all those happy memory have stayed with me until today.

It was spring on March. With the comfortable weather and warmth sunshine, our class had a spring outing on Saturday. We gathered at the school gate, there the bus was waiting for us. Good morning, everyone. It is my honor to stand here and share with something about traveling. Which I’d like to convey is that to travel is also to learn. Take my journey to Xi’an for example. Previously, I do learn something about the city from books and TV programs. Therefore, I didn’t know what wonderful it was until I was there in person. When traveling, we can feel the surrounding with our own eyes, noses and so on, thus broaden our horizons. The picture took on the Great Wall is good reminder of my happy days during my stay in Xi’an. So everyone, seize every chance or you will start an amazing journey to learn.

It was the first time I had been to countryside. At 9 o'clock in the morning I started out with several classmates. In the way we saw rice fields and trees on all sides of the road. Factories, shops, and schools had been built in many village. From ten to twelve we visited ten families. We told that many farmers had planted vegetables and raise silkworms (蚕) and they had become rich. Some even bought color TV sets. The life of the farmers had been great improved. It was said that some America friends would come to visit their village. We are greatly inspired by the achievements they had made them in recent years.

The moment we entered the Summer Palace yesterday, Tom and I attracted by its beautiful scenery, and we walked along the beautiful lake happy.
Soon, we noticed a elderly man practicing calligraphy on the ground, in a bucket of water aside. Hold a big writing brush in his hand, he wrote the Chinese character for “longevity”. We as well as other tourist couldn’t help but to admire his skills. To our surprised, the elderly man invited Tom to have a try. With her help, Tom completed his first calligraphy task, the two Chinese characters for “China”, quite successfully. Before we left, we take a photo together to memorize this valuable experience.

I happen to meet some American tourists at the gate of the Summer Palace last week. I greeted them with English and then we began to chat. I got to know that they were college student traveling in China. Most of us were fond of Chinese medicine. They were busy taking pictures and were surprising at the changes what had taken place in the past few years. After that, we went boat and had a good time. We were exchanged our e-mail addresses so that we could write to each other in the future. They thanked me again and again. I was gladly to have a chance to practice my oral English. What wonderful experience it was！

I took a trip to China a few months before. It was a wonderful experience where is beyond description. We spent three weeks visiting Beijing, Shanghai and several other tourist attraction. The closer we approached the center of China, the much I liked it. Then we went to Hong Kong last week, which I think is different with Beijing. It is noisiest place I have ever seen. And another thing that give me a deep impression was the people in China—they were so much friendly. Anyway, the trip itself was interested. I can't wait to flying to China again.
