This impressive botanical garden is home to four museums, including the Natural History Museum, which houses a variety of African animals. The gardens themselves boast thousands of species of plants. This is a lovely place to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings.

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont: over 24 hectares

If you want to get off the tourist trail and hang out with true Parisians, this park is the perfect spot for a relaxing picnic or a leisurely wander. It is in the 19th district and is one of the largest parks in Paris. Cross its lake on the suspension bridge, or admire the waterfalls and attractive temples.

Jardin du Luxembourg: over 25 hectares

These beautiful gardens were first laid out in 1612 as the gardens of the Luxembourg Palace. They include a geometric (结合图形的) forest, French and English style gardens, as well as a large pond. There is so much to see and do with activities especially for children, such as slides, rides and puppet shows, as well as leisure and sporting activities for adults. The gardens are home to more than one hundred sculptures.

Le Parc de la Villette: 55 hectares

This urban cultural park is so much more than just a park as it is home to numerous music venues, exhibition spaces and cafes. It is also home to no less than 12 gardens, which all follow different themes. The Passenger Gardens, for example, which are built on what was once the sheep market, support a variety of ecosystems, demonstrating the importance of biodiversity.

Want to achieve something great on your next Asian adventure? You should consider climbing one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia. Kinabalu National Park in Malaysia is the home of Mount Kinabalu, the mountain that around 40,000 people from all around the world go to climb every year. The journey normally takes two days.

In Shanxi province of the country lies the world’s most dangerous hiking trail(路线). It’s up Mount Huashan, which is only 2,155m high. But the dangerous part is not the top, but the narrow, wooden boards you have to climb up to reach the top. They’re fixed onto the mountainside in a way that doesn’t look very secure. Nevertheless, many adventurers try and take a hair-raising picture as they climb up.

5 . Knowing what to do at checkout and properly preparing for it can turn a potentially heated situation into a quick thank you and goodbye. Below we made a list of five things you should remember at hotel checkout.

Hotels may add an extremely high price for being just a half hour late. If you know you won^,t make the cutoff time, it never hurts to call ahead and try to negotiate away a potential charge.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame ( the Hall of Fame for short ) is a fantastic destination for everyone from lifelong basketball fans to families with children who are just beginning to explore the world's most popular sport. Each year, several thousand visitors crowd into this birthplace of basket-ball.

Dates and Hours of Operation

The Hall of Fame is open Wednesday through Sunday from late November through March 31 and daily the rest of the year. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Friday through Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). 7 . Kettle's Yard, Cambridge

This modern art gallery in a Victorian house was founded in the 1950s by Jim Ede and reopened in February, following a two-year redevelopment by Jamie Fobert Architects. This means a new cafe, a four-floor education wing and improved gallery space that can accommodate more visitors. The gallery's permanent colletion includes works of Joan Miro, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.

Being Brunet, Bristol

To celebrate the life and work of famous civil engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Being Brunel opened in March on Bristols harbourside. The museum included a range of interactive and entertaining exhibits, including talking portraits of his friends and family and personal possessions, including an 1821 school report. It is a good place for families to strengthen connections.

Royal Academy of Arts, London

The RA reopened on 19 May for its 250th anniversary, following a renovation（翻新）with a gallery and expanded exhibition programme. These will include three galleries, which will host exhibitions with a focus on contemporary art and architecture. The grand facade（正面）of the Burlington Gardens building has also been restored-possibly the first time it's had a proper clean in its 150-year history.

V&A Dundee

One of the most significant new openings of the year will be Scotland's first designed museum-and also the first V&A anywhere outside of London-on 15 September. The museum building sits on the River Tay. It will celebrate Scottish designs and objects in its collection.

The Southampton Trail Preservation Society runs many guided trails in the Hamptons, some suitable for even small children.Behind the South Fork Natural History Museum in Bridgehampton is a small field that surrounds around it and usually has butterflies and birds flying about.
