1. Meatopia

This three-day, London-based festival takes place at the end of August and is a meat lover’s paradise. In addition to a range of legally sourced meat products, from juicy burgers to tender steaks, attendees can listen to live music, watch butchery demonstrations, and attend informal meat-based workshops.

2. The National Honey Show

If you have a sweet tooth, then it could be that the National Honey Show, which started in 1921 and is the largest event of its kind, is the place for you to be. This three-day event attracts many local entries who showcase their sweet golden honey, some of which is sold globally.

4. The Ginger and Spice Festival

If you’d prefer something with a little more kick to it, then you could attend The Ginger (姜) and Spice Festival held in Market Drayton. Unlike other food festivals, it celebrates its town’s historic connection to Robert Clive, who returned from India with ginger. Because of this, they specialize in baking gingerbread, but also sell a range of traditional spices from mild to hot.

Your trip to Beijing isn’t really complete without seeing one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World” — the Great Wall of China. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is by far the most well-preserved of all. Taking a one-hour bus ride, Mutianyu would be your ideal location for a half-day of hiking away from the large crowds in the city. Also, the authorities have allowed tourists to paint graffiti on a specific section of the Great Wall since 2014. The Great Wall was designated (把……定名为) a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987.

Located in northwestern Beijing, the Summer Palace is by far the city’s most well-preserved royal park. With its huge lake and hilltop views, the palace offers you a pastoral escape into the landscape of traditional Chinese paintings. The Summer Palace was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998.

This would be on the top of my list! Named after the 798 factory that was built in the 1950s, the art zone is home to various galleries, design studios, art exhibition spaces, fashionable shops and bars. You could easily spend half your day wandering around the complex, feeling the contrast of the present and the past.

While in Beijing, apart from trying the city’s best-known Peking duck, the Sichuan provincial restaurant is one of places where you can enjoy regional delicious food. It offers one of China’s eight great cuisines, Sichuan Cuisine, which ranges from Mapo tofu to spicy chicken.

5 . Fuerteventura is a great place awaiting your discovery. Here are some reasons.

La Concha beach

Located in the Concha bay, the La Concha beach is one of the most popular beaches, which is dressed in white sand and beautified with calm water. The beach is close to the town, and at sunset, most tourists rush to see the skies turn beautiful colours in just a few short moments. At low tide（海水的低潮）, small pools of water form, and these are great for the little members of the family to take a dive in. There are enough parking lots and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Corralejo Natural Park

If you want to experience the desert beauty of Fuerteventura, Corralejo Natural Park will be the best place. It is a coin with two sides. One is characterized by volcanic scenery, and the other is white sand that has been cleansed by the blue water of the Atlantic Ocean. Getting to the park can be easily done by road, but exploring it demands that you put on your hiking shoes and take a walk through the natural wonderland.

Costa Calma beach

Costa Calma beach is characterized by blue waters and white sand. The beach is not packed, so you will get a chance to be just with your thoughts as you sunbathe on the sand. When the winds are swift, Costa Calma beach turns into a hot spot for surfers, ideal for those wanting to get a surfing course. The road leading to the beach is fenced by green plants meaning the magic starts even before you get there.

Cofete Beach

It's hard to find a fitting description for this wild beach. Its shoreline is great for its golden sand and wild water. Getting to Cofete Beach is not easy: perhaps that's why this place is still in its original state. The road has difficult spots that require expert driving skills. However, if you can tolerate it, you will be treated with some amazing views.

7 . Explore the villages around Hartbridge

Many visitors came to Hartbridge to see wonderful art galleries, museums and fantastic parks. This brochure will tell you what you can see if you take a short bus ride out of the city.

The historic village of Camberwell was once the home of the wealthy Hugo family, who lived in a huge country house, Camberwell Court, and owned all the land in the area. You can spend a whole day walking around the house and gardens and there is a small exhibition about the family, a children's play area, a gift shop and a restaurant.

Hidcot is situated on the river Owell. Visitors should go to the Nature Park to the south of the village, where there are large numbers of rare birds and flowers. In Hidcot, you can take a two-hour river cruise to see the countryside and learn about the local wildlife from a guide, or hire a boat and explore the river at your leisure.

The village was home of the children's writer Jane Potter, whose stories of Benjamin Bear are loved by adults and children around the world. Jane Potter’s home is now a museum and is well worth a visit just for its wonderful gardens. Lovers of Jane Potter’s books should also walk to the Green Valley woods, which have not changed since Jane Potter wrote her stories there 100 years ago.

It is the highest mountain in the area, where many industries grew up, including the coal industry, a paper factory and a cotton factory, all of which closed down in the 19th century. If you walk from the village center up the hill to the north, you can still see the paths where horses used to carry the coal. There is a four-mile walk around the village which has some amazing views.

8 . India’s Best Wildlife Protected Areas

Parambikulam Wildlife Reserve

An important tiger reserve located in Palakkad district of Kerala, the Parambikulam Wildlife Reserve is a memorable place for anyone who visits here. This is a place of rich diversity of animals and birds. The best time to visit it is between August and January.

Gir National Park & Wildlife Reserve

Noted as the only place you can find the Asian lions, Gir Reserve is the place if you want to get the best out of your vacation. It is situated in Junagadh and Amreli district, Gujarat. You can also find many more rare species. If you are going there especially for the lions, make sure you go between March and May.

Kumarakom Bird Reserve

Known for migratory(迁徙的)birds, this reserve is situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake in Kottayam district, Kerala. Among the migrators, the Siberian crane identifiable by its red mask and white cap offers good views to the watchers. The best time to visit local species is from June to August and if you are planning to click travelling birds then the recommended period is from November to February.

Mudumalai National Park & Wildlife Reserve

Mudumalai is a great tourist attraction in Nilgiri district, Tamil Nadu. It is home to some of the rarest species on the Earth like Bengal tiger and Indian elephant. This park along with its neighbors around has a maximum tiger population in the country. And it hosts around 8 percent bird species occurring in India. The periods from February to May and September to October are recommended for visit.

9 . Bird watching is a wonderful year-round activity. It is a wonderful way to learn about nature and enjoy many of the delights of nature. In addition, it is an activity that can be enjoyed almost anywhere in the world. Here are a few great destinations in the United States for bird watching lovers to visit.

Hakalau Forest, Hawaii

This beautiful Hawaiian forest on the Manua Kea on the Big Island is a good destination to see some of Hawaii’s unique birds. Birders should be sure to look for the Hawaiian Honeycreeper(旋蜜雀), as well as 3 kinds of Hawaiian ducks and more.

Ramsey Canyon Preserve, Arizona

Southeast of Tucson, this is a wonderful place for watching hummingbirds (蜂鸟). Birders can see up to 14 kinds of these fun little birds. In addition, about other 75 kinds of birds call the valley home, including red-faced birds, and many others.

San Luis Complex, California

The place within the San Joaquin Valley provides enough opportunity for birders to enjoy many species of California birds. Birders even have the opportunity to see Aleutian Canada Geese. Visitors to this place should also keep an eye out for the groups of tule elk (驼鹿) that call the area home.

Klamath Basin Complex, Oregon

This Oregon destination is an amazing bird watching place. Many types of geese and ducks call this place home. Visitors to the place can see Snow Geese, Canada Geese and a lot of kinds of animals.

10 . Inspiration Tower

Inspiration Tower is on the highest point in Southwest Missouri. Take a glass lift to the spacious observation deck (甲板). The views are absolutely phenomenal in any season. On a clear day, you can see over 90 miles. Opens from 9 am to 5 pm daily: closes at 4 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Titanic Museum Attraction

You’ll enter as a guest and leave as a Titanic Passenger! The exhibits you see throughout the ship are real and valued at over 4 million dollars. Visit a room where you can touch an authentic iceberg (冰山) and experience the coldness of the icy waters where the Titanic sank. Walk along decks at the same angle as the decks when the ship went down.
