Last month, our school launched a campaign which intention was to promote environmental protection. The campaign last for one week. Firstly, there was a photo display to show the seriously pollution caused by human activities. Secondly, there was a lecture on many small step that we could take in our daily life protect the environment. For example, taking the bus and using the bike-sharing system would be a good way. Last but not the least, we students were encouraging to decorate our classrooms with recycled materials. Through the campaign, they have benefited a lot. Our school lies at the foot of a mountain with a small river passes by. It used to be a quiet, clean or beautiful place. It is a pity that things have changed since a chemical factory built near our school one year ago. Every one day the factory produces many waste water and some other solid waste things. The terribly pollution is harmful by our health. What's worse, the great noise from the factory had a bad effect on us activities. As a result, our school is no longer that it used to be. Our teachers and students are painful beyond expression.

England is the larger of the four countries, and for convenience it is divided rough into three zones. My dog Dino is really superhero, who helps keep us safely, especially on the roads. Take a look at that he did last week.

Last Thursday, a driver behind us started shouting at my mum when he stopped the car to let several child cross the road. Dino soon made him shut up. The blue whale is certainly the largest animals on the planet today. Just the heart of a blue whale can weight as many as a family car. You might think that such a big animal would need to eat another big animals to surviving. Surprising, the blue whale feeds on some of the smaller ocean animals.
A blue whale can live between 80 and 90 years. Unfortunately, it is believe that there were only 10,000 to 25,000 alive. They were hunted for in the 1900s but hundreds of thousands of them were killed. Let’s hope number of whales on the planet starts to increase in the coming years.

As is well-known that birds are our friends. But the large number of birds have been killed for food. The other day I was walking in the woods while a shot was heard. Hearing the shot, the bird in the trees flew to all directions. A bird was injured badly and looked sadly. Finding the bird injured, so I decided to take it home. At home I take good care of it. When it recovered, I returned itself to the woods. I hope something should be done to prevent birds from killed.

When I was a child, I hoped to live in the city. I think I would be happy there. Now I am living in a city , but I miss my home in countryside. There the air is clean or the mountains are green. Unfortunately, on the development of industrialization, the environment has been polluted. Lots of studies have been shown that global warming has already become a very seriously problem. The airs we breathe in is getting dirtier and dirtier. Much rare animals are dying out . We must found ways to protect your environment. If we fail to do so , we‘ll live to regret it .
