There are many simple steps we can take them. Firstly, we can choose eco-friendly modes of transportation such as walking, cycling, or using public transport instead driving. Secondly, saving energies in our homes is crucial. Switching off lights when they are not in use but using energy-efficient appliances (电器) make a significance impact. Lastly, consuming less meat and dairy products, that have a high carbon footprint, and opting for organic produce can make a different.

Our school held an activity on last Sunday because it was “Earth Day”. Hundred of students took part in it. I am one of them. I am fond of wild animals, which existence makes our world lively and colorfully. However, many wild animals in nature are in the danger. When I was a little kid, I dreamed of keeping on a dog. My parents disagreed, say that I was so young to take care of myself, let alone a dog. I didn’t give up. The earthquake affect the students of the destroying areas in many ways. How can we help them?

As is known to us, a large number of wild animals has been killed for their meat. As a result, thousand of animals have either died out and become endangered.
Actually, protect wild animals benefits the animals as well as humans. For an example, if farmers killed too many eagles, their corn and grain would be destroyed by rats. The reason is because with no eagles to hunt rats, their number would increase rapid.
Therefore, all of us must do what they can to protect wild animals. As for me, I have joined an organization in our town which aim is to call on people to protect wild animals and I have taken part several activities.
