I participated in a cycling event yesterday. This event attracted cycling lover from all over the city. I was not sure where I found the courage to undertook it, but it could have been the inspiration from the spirit of sportsmanship I witnessed before.
My friends and I began my cycling adventure at 6 am from the eastern side of the lake. The cycling path was lined by a variety of color flowers, many of what I couldn’t identify by name. Looking down on, I noticed lots of falling leaves on the red track. At that moment I realized leaves were so attractive. Of course, this journey wasn’t just the feast for the eyes. It was absolute a physical challenge too.

The Spring Festival, that falls on the first day of the first lunar month, is one of the most important festival. Last Thursday,a series of colourful activities were organized to extend our warmly welcome to our guests:a group of foreign teachers from our sister school.
The foreign friends attend quit a few optional course representative of our school.But they visited the school gallery.It is housed a lot of art works created by students from Grade 3,included calligraphy(书法),and Chinese paintings.Which impressed them most was the pleasant learning atmosphere of his school.

Popularity is the state of being liked, enjoyed or supported by others. Natural, we all desire to win popularity in one way or another. We all know that cycling is a greatly exercise. A doctor tells me people who lives the longest are dancers and cyclists. Nowadays, students are paying less and less attention to handwriting.
According to a survey, about 85.8 percent of middle school students think that their handwriting is poorly. Yet for various reason, many students don't want to improve their handwriting. 51.5 percent think that they can use a computer, so there is not need to waste the time improving their handwriting. 32.3 percent believe that they are such busy with the study that they don't have time practice. 10.9 percent think that practice handwriting is useless.
Writing style show the man. Beautiful handwriting is very benefit, especially for middle school students. Therefore, in my opinion, more emphasis should be placed in this aspect.

Last term, I hosted an exchange student naming Jacob from the Great Britain to our school. He really cares for Chinese Culture. Jacob asked me to show himself around the city on weekends. I took him to many local place of interest and we also go to the theater to watch a show of Peking Opera. He was so attracted by the performance as he decided to learn it. My father happened to know a master of Peking Opera and introduced Jacob to him. Jacob was great honored to be one of his students. Put his heart into it, Jacob made a rapid progress. When he returned England, he gave a performance, for what he won much admiration from his classmates.
