Last month, I finish reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms writing by Luo Guanzhong. It is a Chinese historical novel based upon the events what happened between the late Eastern Han Dynasty or the Three Kingdoms. It is praised as one of the Four Great Clas-sical Novels of Chinese literature. I’ve learned a lot of from the novel. I really like reading, which can broaden your horizon and make me learn knowledges. A good book is like a wise man, a teacher, a friend and a partner. I do advise chose a good book to read. If everyone does it regular, the history, culture and many other aspects will handed down from generation to generation.

Last Sunday, I visit the City Zoo with my sister. It took us half a hour to get there by bus. First we went to see the tigers. They was very strong. Then we arrived at the Elephant Yard. We were lucky because of we had a chance to touch the elephants. When we got close to them, we were frightening. However, the elephants were friendly to we. Soon our fear disappeared. After lunch, we went the Panda House. We saw two panda there. They were playing happy. We spent four hours in the zoo. We were tired and we had a good time.

Tom was good at play chess and we had a wonderfully time. Later, Tom's mother returned home and thanked me a lot of. Actually, I was happy to be helpful.

Last summer, I learned an basic life skill—cooking. At first, I just watch what my Mum did, and then I tried. However, cooking were not so easy. Sometimes when I cooked eggs, I even burned it. Fortunately, whenever I did something wrong, Mum would be encourage me.
Now I can cook simple dishes, but help my Mum with other housework as well. I needn’t depend at my parents as much as before. I am proudly that I can do something to thank my parent for their love. I’ve got to know how be a good child at home.

Last Saturday, my parents was very busy. They had no time to take care with my little sister. Therefore, they ask me to look after her. I took she to the supermarket first. I bought her a nice toy but she loved it very much. After that, we went to the park. When we arrived, we saw two girl there. My sister was so exciting that she played games with them. On our way to home, we bought some flowers for our parents. Seeing the flowers, they were very happily. We really had good time.
