My exchange year was a great experience for me. I successfully enhanced their language skills. To be precise, my speech experience helped me develop my English speaking skills, thus allow me to understand more about how to make presentations in the public. Besides, I meet all kinds of helpful people there and had fun. I thanked those people which helped me. I learned to think about things from a different point view. Meanwhile, I learned to give back to societies and serve others without expect anything in return. In shortly, I did gain something value from the trip abroad.

While walk out of the supermarket yesterday, I saw a lady pulling a cart with three big bag of groceries. I watched her go towards her car from the supermarket. I waited to see that a clerk would come out to help her, but no one came. So I said to her, “Madam, did you need help?” She was surprised and excitedly replied, “Oh yes! It couldn’t be best! Li Yue has awarded the title of “Star Student of the Week” due to that she did for our class.
In the hot afternoon of last Saturday, Li Yue walked from one store to another, with the purpose of looking for the costume we would wear in the singing contest. While the rest of us were enjoying our leisure time, but she spent the whole afternoon searching and selecting. Finally, she found the right clothes. We were such moved by her efforts that we tried our best and won the first prize in a contest.
Li Yue is always warm-hearted and cared a lot about the class. However, she deserves the honour and we should learn from him.

This year marks my five year of living in China. Aside from my job, one of my favorite hobby is looking at China’s railway maps. In the past decades, the High Speed Railway (HSR), calling “GaoTie” in Chinese, has expanded rapid in the national railway network. Not only it save more travelling time, but also it changes the transportation ecosystem. In my previous experience, I travel on the HSR train from Beijing to Shanghai, that took only 4 hours and 20 minutes to cover the 1,200 km distance. What a amazing speed that I never imagined it possible! Now I am planning to travel much around China by HSR.

Since the digging of No.3 to No.8 sites begin in October last year, about 500 pieces of relics (文物) have been found at Sanxingdui Ruins in southwest China Sichuan Province. The relics, discovered at six new sites, include the golden masks. Many of them are unique shaped. The new finds have brought the total amount of the relics discovered at the ruins to nearly 2,000. The discoveries has shown that ancient China is far more developed we have expected.
Sanxingdui was discovered in the early twenty century. It has been considering as one of the greatest archaeological (考古的) wonder in the world.

We spend much time at school. Our school is like beautiful garden. We students are like flowers planting in it and our teachers are like gardeners, that take good care of us and water us with love and knowledge. In my opinion, it’ s their duty to do something for our school. First, we should protect the school environment so dropping litter careless should be forbidden. Meanwhile, we can plant more tree. A professor gave a balloon to every student, which had to fill it, write their own name on it and threw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloon. The students were giving 5 minutes to get back their own balloon. Despite a busy search for, no one found their own balloon.
At that point the professor told the students to take first balloon that they found and hand them to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes everyone had their own balloon.
The professor said to the students, “These balloons are like happy. We will never find it if everyone keep looking for their own. But if we care about other people’s, we’ll find ours either.”

It’s safer to use pedestrian crossings or overhead bridge. Never cross a road by dashing across it, what is inviting trouble. If there’re no crossings, we must look careful right and left and cross only when that is safe to do so.
Some of us go to school by the bus. It’s important for us not to getting on or off a bus while it is still move. I tried to get on a moving bus once. It drags me a short distance and nearly ran over me. I was lucky escape with some scratches. Don’t fool around in the bus and you will get hurt.
