Aiming to provide an opportunity with students to enrich their knowledge about Western culture, yesterday the English club organizes a visit to the art exhibition of David Hockney in the City Art Gallery. He is one of the most influential British artists. I was fortunately to participate. Together with other club members, I admired some masterpieces by David and watched a video about her. Last Thursday,a series of colourful activities were organized to extend our warmly welcome to our guests:a group of foreign teachers from our sister school.

Whenever we are faced with problems, cooperation plays an important part in get us out of trouble. But there was a time when I was too proud that I overlooked my classmates and refuse to work together with them. As a result, I was left alone or suffered from loneliness.
