I went fishing with my best friend Li Hua last Sunday — an experience I’ll remember it forever. Last Sunday, Li Hua bought a set of fishing equipments so he suggested that we went fishing by a local river. It was the nice day and the fresh air there lifted our mood. We start fishing by the riverside. We didn’t get any fish in the first half an hour; therefore, we didn’t give up easily. Another 30 minutes passed, and I gradually ran out patience and began complaining about bad luck. Li Hua shared his successfully fishing experiences with me, encourage me to be patient. Finally, I caught five fish. You can’t imagine what excited I was at that time.

My family were travelling back to Yibin from Chengdu then it started to snow. At first, I thought it is fun and everything looked beautifully. I was looking forward to make a snowman on the playground at my school the next day, and suddenly the car drove off road and into a channel. My father called the rescue team, but they said it would be a long time after they could reach us. But we sang songs and told stories to pass the time. Several hour later, the rescue team pulled their car out of the channel. At last, we managed to drive very slowly to home. I would never forget this experience.

On New Year’s Day I went to a stamp exhibition, that proved to be a unique experience.
I arrived at the exhibition with my precious stamp album, eager and exciting. Crowds of stamp lovers had gathered here. I joined in them and studied the stamps one by one. I was deep absorbed in the artists’ delicate design and wanted to learn more. Then, some of us got together in twos and threes to share our collections, chatting cheerfully about the stamps and stories behind it like old friends. Time passes quickly and it was time to say goodbye to these friends. We took pictures together but made promises to meet again.
I had great time today. Not only did I appreciate beautiful stamp, but also I made new friends of the same interest.

Aimed at raise money for the poor, our school held an activity about a charity sale on last Wednesday afternoon. With Thanksgiving Day drawn near, I think I have many reason to be thankful to my mom.
