A big fire break out in a clothing factory in our city the last Wednesday. On 9：18 that morning, when the employees were working busy in the 4-storeyed building, heavy smoke was seeing coming out of the windows on the second floor. Last Wednesday, the teachers and students in Senior Three attended the grown-up ceremony holding in our school hall, which theme was “Growth and Responsibility”. Last week, it was announced that a singing competition would held in our school. Our teacher encouraged us to take a active part in it. After a heated discuss, we agreed to sing Defend the Yellow River. Five days later, the competition had started in the school hall. We sang with full passion, wear the uniform. All audience applauded warm at the end of our performance, what made us very happy. Because of our wonderful and inspired performance, we finally won the first place. My classmate Liu Ming succeeded in rescue a child from a burning house last Wednesday's morning. He was about to go to school while he heard a child crying. Looking around, he noticed a house burning fierce. Realizing a big fire had been broken out and a child was in danger, he called the police immediately. But he rushed into the burning house - searching for the crying child. The moment Liu Ming rushed out for the burning house with the trapped child, the house falls down. Today I was glad to participate in an activity, which theme is Chinese weaving art, making me to have a taste of traditional Chinese culture deeply.
This activity held in my school library where I appreciated numerous art works, ranging from chairs to decoration. In addition, I was lucky enough to get a opportunity to learn what to weave Chinese knotting on the spot. During that time I was very enjoyable that I fell in love with the magical work immediate.

My uncle is the owner of a restaurant close to that I live. Though not very big, but the restaurant is popular in our area. It is always crowded with customers at meal times. My grandpa was a firefighter for a long time. Besides controlling and put out fires, he saved people from burning buildings. He did a lot of another things, too.
