I can’t live without music. It may not sound practically because things such as food, water and air is much more important than music for human beings. However, I think the thought of change the world by spreading the joy of music is not that ridiculous. Cimorelli is one of my favorite band. I’ve downloaded the great many of their songs. Whenever I feel down or disappointing, I listen to them because the lyrics (歌词) are positive and meaningful. Thanks to their songs, I have realized the important of helping others and that being different is not something to be ashamed. I also liked singing. Three years ago, I was addicted for computer games. I played with games day and night on weekends. I lost interesting in my studies and I was often absent from school.

While in New Zealand as an exchange student, I stay with a host family. My host parents organized many activities for me at my spare time to relieve my homesickness. However, life in New Zealand isn’t easily to me. My main problem was the language, I was failed to understand much and that lasted for several week. Fortunately, I soon made several friends, whom help made me adapt gradually. They talked about life both in China and in New Zealand, learn more about each other’s culture. As is known to us all, shoes played an important role in our life, for it can protect our feet from being hurt. I caught the flu as a result the recent continuous rain. Ignoring my family’s advices, I still went to school, hoped that the flu would disappear itself. However, I seemed to go from bad to worst. I had a runny nose all the time. Everybody wanted to come near me. The school doctor told me to rest more and gave me some medicine. A nurse give me an injection; it was really hurt! My school schedule is tight than ever because I’m in the final year of high school. Therefore, I still manage to do what I can help with the housework. I’ve gotten into the habit of cleaning up after dinner when I turned nine. I also do thing like sweeping and washing clothes. I even begin to cook for my family last month. There was a time that I lived in poverty in a remote mountainous area. At that time, we had only a few for three meals a day. My families persuaded my brother to drop out of school to work and let me to continue schooling. Thanks to my teachers who stayed there for decades to educate our students, I successfully admitted to the university. Additional, our elderly village leader helped the villagers move to the plains and invites experts to teach our villagers to plant better and more rice, helping them get rid of poverty with their hard-working hands. Now everyone is living a life with plenty of food and clothing, and I am honorably a village cadre, continue the old man’s unfulfilled mission and leading the villagers to a good life.
