1 . Last June, my sister, Katy, graduated from high school. I didn’t think much about it then because I was ____ a great summer holiday. But when the ____ came to an end, I started to ____ that soon my sister would be off to college.

2 . I met Daisy Banks on the way to Maghar. She was walking down the road with her white stick, and I saw her walking toward a muddy _______. If she continued, she might _______ into the water. 3 . I went with some colleagues for dinner in a very popular local restaurant. It was ________ business time and the restaurant was crowded.

As we were waiting for a table, we heard a crash when a cleaning boy________the floor with all the plates he was carrying. There was ________ and no one was saying or doing anything. At that time the manager arrived, who was kind enough to look after the boy. By the time all this was over, we hadn’t________anything yet, and we decided to go home.

I slowly walked home, not hungry any more, feeling________for the opportunity to pay forward the _______ I had received many years ago.

4 . Brandon and Derek’s mother, Beth Lash, shared a Facebook video on Dec. 25, 2017. It captured the moment when Bandon _____ his card out loud. On Brandon Lash’s 24th birthday, his little brother, Derek, presented him with a rather large card filled with an even bigger ____.

I loved to sing when I was young. My childhood had been ________ with creativity, yet for most of my adult life it was neglected. 6 . A couple in Ohio accidentally dropped off a bag containing almost $100,000 at an Ohio charity shop. Thanks to _________ employees, they got money back. 

The employees were going through _________ last week when they came across a _________.Inside was $97,004. “It was so much cash,” employee Kelsey Croy said. “I looked in the bag and we _________ it right there on the desk.
