When I went to see The Revenge of Prince Zidan, which is the Peking Opera version of Hamlet,I was impressed by the strong and mixed     1    of love, anger, fear and grief in the performance. I enjoyed it so much that I was on the     2     of my seat.

The opera started with an     3    playing jinghu, a traditional Chinese instrument, whose sound was completely new to my Western ears. Then I was surprised to see the     4    come on stage.Their costumes and masks were amazing. Growing up in England with a British father and a Chinese mother, my son enjoys the food from both countries.
