Ten years ago, I was in great depress. I worked hard at piano learning and devoted all my spare time to learn it. But I failed to pass the B level test, that made me quite disappointed. So I turned my mother for help when I got home. Hearing of what I told her, she smiled, “Test results sometimes cannot really show my ability and level. However, your progress should not be judged only by one test.” She encouraged me to work hardly for the next year’s B Level Test. I take my mother’s advices. To my excited, now the B level test is in front of me, and I’ve realized that the process of learning is more important.

As we all know, everyone have a dream. I have dreamed of being a doctor since I entered into the primary school. Nowadays with modern life go rapidly, many people suffer from different kind of disease, both mentally and physically. As a result, doctors are in greet need at home and abroad. Last year I attended an after-school program calling Young at Arts where I learned dancing. My most favorite teacher at Young at Arts was Mrs. Li. She changed the way she looked at life. Before I met Mrs. Li, I wouldn’t dare to trying anything I didn’t think I would be successfully in. Mrs. Li talked with me to help me get through hard times that I was frustrated with not only dancing, but also life. She teach me that my attitude can be important than my talent. It was her encourage that helped me leave my comfort zone and achieved what I hadn’t expected before.
Once one year a race is held. A lot of cars took part this race last year and there had a lot of experiments just before it began. One of the most beautiful car was a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. Many of cars broke down on the way and some drivers spent much time under their cars than in them. The win car reached at a speed of forty miles an hour.
What to do when an earthquake occurs

If you are in bed, stay there and cover his head with a pillow.
If you are driving, pull over, stop the car, and set the emergency break. Stay in the car when the shaking stops. If a power line falls on your vehicle, stay inside until help arrive.
If you are in a elevator, stop at the nearest floor and get out. Then drop (伏地), cover（遮挡）, and hold on（手抓牢）.
If you are in a stadium or theater, remain in your seat until the shaking stops and then go away calm.
If outdoors, stay clearly of possible dangers including cars, bridges, power lines, structures, trees, and loose rock (landslides).
If you are on a city sidewalk, go into a doorway to stay out of the street while avoiding fall pieces.
If you by the beach and shaking lasts for more than 20 seconds, or the shoreline moves gradually away, leave immediately for high ground because of the earthquake could be causing a tsunami.
It is interested to visit another country, but sometimes there are some questions when we don’t know the language very well. It may be difficult to talk about the people there. We may not know how to use the telephone in the country which are visiting. We may not know what to buy the things we need. In a strange country we may not know where to eat and what to order in a restaurant. It is not easy to decide how many money to tip (付小费) waiters or taxi drivers. When we are helpful，we may not know how to ask help. After a short time later, however, we learn what to do and what to say. We learn to enjoy life in another country, and then we may be sorry to leave both the place and the people.

My hobby is rock climbing. I’ve been doing them for two year. In the beginning, I wasn’t very good, so I’ve gotten much better. I started rock climbing in junior high school. Dear editor
There are much ways for us high school students to relax ourselves. As for me, when I felt stressed, I usual communicate with my friends, parents or teachers. Sometime I will do sports with our classmates, such as riding bikes, going swimming and so on. I go to the movies or listen light music in my spare time, either. What's more, go on a trip in holiday is another way to making me relaxed. I believe, unless we are more relaxed we'll be more happier, and healthier and learn better.

Now a hot topic is being discussed about whether old computers in our school should be replaced in new ones. With the rapid develop of science and technology, there is no doubt the old computers are totally out of the date. The headmaster as well as the teachers are not satisfied with the slow working speed of the computers. Therefore, all of us request to have a new computer so that their problems can be solved successful. What the school should consider is what to deal with the old computers wisely. This afternoon I was having a PE lesson while I fell down and hurt my foot. I was in greatly pain at that moment, but I tried to act as if nothing has happened until the class was over. Though I had difficulty walk back to my classroom, I still didn't tell anyone but even refused the offer of help of my classmates. As result, the hurt in my foot became bad. Now I know I am wrong. We can tell others our need for help and accept his help. Some day we can help others in return for. In this way, we can get along to each other happily and peacefully.
