On a cold, windy day in November, my Granny moved in. Somehow, at that time, I didn’t know that she was sick.
After Granny moved in, she 1 most of her time on the brown sofa by the fire. When I wrote a letter to Father Christmas, she m 2 to help me.
In December, our excitement 3 every day. Granny and I made sugar biscuits, stuffed the turkey and then I sat on my granny’s lap and we sang Christmas songs.

A few weeks after that Christmas, Granny p 10 . I think of her often though, especially at Christmas. When I think about What makes Christmas so msgical, it’s not just gifts and Father Christmas that come to mind. It’s also my memoty of Granny.
