When asked about “Are you willingly to have a younger brother or sister”, it’s possible that most student say yes. They say having a companion will help stop them feel lonely. Besides, they can learn to share things and provide other people help. The few others whom say no are afraid that their parents will love them little if they aren’t the only child at home.
As for me, my answer was definitely yes. For one thing, having a companion is a great fun to me and I like to play with him or her. For other, I will have a good friend to do things with, to talk with or to share my things with.

3 . Everyone needs friends. There is an old saying, "Friends are God’s way of taking care of us." But how do you find real friendship and keep it?
The American writer Sally Seamans tells young students some smart ways to make friends.Sally says finding friendship is just like planting a tree. You plant the seed(种子)and take care of it to make it grow.
First, you should choose a friend. What makes a good friend? It is not because a person has money or good looks.A good friend should be kind and patient(耐心).For example, if you have a bad day, a good friend should listen to your complaints and do his best to help.To make a good friend, you cannot be too shy.You should make each other happy and share your lives.
But things cannot always be happy.Even the best friends have fights. What should you do when you have a fight with your friend? You have to talk to him or her. When there is no one around, have an honest talk.If he or she doesn't want to talk, you could write a letter.
There are three steps to being friends again:
Tell him or her how you are feeling; say what your friend has done wrong, and explain why you did this or that.Remember that friendship is the most important thing in your life.

My cousin is called Li Shichun. The “Chun” stands for spring. That is where she was born. But that’s not all. He is also named after a Sui Dynasty engineer, Li Chun. Her father thought him admire because he has built bridges you can really count on. But her mother thought that sounded very much like a boy name. So they added “Shi” to her grandmothers name. She eventually went to university or became an engineer. She becomes quite famous when she invented new way of holding up suspension bridges during the building process.

6 . Let’s be honest, kids are weird. And when you hear your three-year-old arguing over who gets to be the mom while playing "house" alone in the other room, you might question if you’ve done something wrong as a parent. But don’t worry, it’s perfectly normal for your child to have an imaginary friend, and it even has some benefits. While your kids are benefitting from playing with their imaginary friend, try out these other ways to raise an intelligent child!
One of the biggest pros is that it promotes creativity. Just think about it — you have to be kind of creative to carry on a conversation with an imaginary figure that doesn’t respond. Developmental psychologist Marjorie Taylor told PureWow that your children’s creativity will remain with them as they get older, even when they stop hanging out with their "friend".
Along with being more creative, they will also have a better developed and more diverse vocabulary as well as stronger social skills. Talking to "Sally" or "Bob" all day will allow them to practice their speech and conversation skills. Researchers at La Trobe University in Australia found that children who engage with their imaginary friends on a regular basis use more complex sentences and are more confident in everyday social situations.
There are also some benefits for the parents. If your child’s siblings aren’t around or they’re an only child, they have someone to entertain them while you take the time to chip away at your never-ending to-do list. So even though it might get old when your kids constantly ask you to set an extra plate at the table for their imaginary friend, they’ll benefit in the future from keeping them around. Having an extra member of the family can’t be that bad, the more the merrier, right?

One day, as I was getting her food, she chewed up(咬破)one of Dad’s shoes, which had to be thrown away in the end. I knew Dad would be mad and I had to let her know what she did was wrong. When I looked at her and said, “Bad girl,” she looked down at the ground and then went and hid. I saw a tear in her eyes.
Brownie turned out to be more than just our family pet. She went everywhere with us. People would stop and ask if they could pat her. Of course she’d let anyone pat her. She was just the most lovable dog. There were many times when we’d be out walking and a small child would come over and pull on her hair. she never barked(吠) or tried to get away. Funny thing is that she would smile. This frightened people because they thought she was showing her teeth. Far from the truth, she loved everyone.
Now many years have passed since Brownie died of old age. I still miss days when she was with us.

8 . My mother is a kind and gentle woman. She is very busy from morning till night. As a teacher she works diligently (勤奋地) and efficiently. As a mother, she takes good care of us and gives us every comfort. I have an elder brother. He and I both love her dearly, as she loves us.
My mother has been teaching maths at a middle school in my hometown. She goes to the school early in the morning and does not return home until late in the afternoon. She loves her students and cares for them. She treats them with patience and teaches them well. For her excellent qualities and very good teaching results, she is always praised and respected by both her students and colleagues alike. And she has been chosen or elected as a model teacher several times.
My mother is a thrifty and industrious (勤劳的)woman. She never buys expensive or beautiful dresses for herself; she goes occasionally to buy some inexpensive and high-quality clothes for us. She never goes to big restaurants to enjoy expensive meals. She only eats a cheap meal outside when she is too busy. She lives a busy yet simple life, without any complaints. As soon as she comes back from school, she sets about doing housework; sweeping the living room and bedrooms or cleaning the furniture, and putting everything in good order. Besides, she prepares nice dishes for us to eat. She seems to be on the go all the time. As she has been very busy working hard every day, she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, and her hair has turned silver white. But she looks
as cheerful and happy as ever.
Often she says to us, “Work while you work, and play while you play.” What a good piece of advice this is! I never forget it and always keep it in my mind. This advice of hers will always serve as a guide to my action.

9 . Are you happy? If you aren’t you need to move near friends who are happy. A new study shows that happiness is infectious (易传染的) and can flow through social groups. And the closer you are to someone happy, the happier you’ll be.
The study was carried out by the Harvard Medical School. The researchers discovered that a person’s happiness depends on the happiness of those around them. They collected data on 5,000 adults between 1971 and 2003. Participants were asked to identify their relatives, close friends, place of residence and place of work. They were also asked questions about whether they enjoyed life, and whether they felt hopeful about the future.
The results were very interesting. The researchers found that those who had happy partners had an 8% higher chance of being happy too. And for those with happy children, this increases to 14%. And finally, those with a happy friend who lives less than half a kilometre away are 42% more likely to be happy. “Most important from our perspective is the recognition that people are m social networks, and that the health and well-being of one person affects the health and well-being of others,” one of the researchers explained. “It makes sense that if people around you are happy, that might have an impact on your own happiness.” So, in conclusion, the best thing is to have a happy friend who lives less than a kilometer away from you. Do you have one?
