Here is my idea about how a friend is like. Firstly, a friend is someone you can share your secrets to. If you tell him a secret, he would never talk about it with anybody else. Besides, a friend is always good listener when you need one. After hear your sad stories, he will say some words that is nice and warm. Still, your happiness makes him happily too. What’s more, a good friend is willing to offer the help to which you need, or can at least give you some advices. In a word, friends are those you like and trust, and you will enjoy every minute that you spent with them.

I have a neighbor who are a hard-working nurse. One day, she asked me if I could help her to deal with a bookcase that she didn’t need anymore. I said sure and we loaded it in her car. As we were working on unloaded it at the garbage station, my next-door neighbor came over but asked if we needed help. He carried that big bookcase into the garbage station quick! I gave my nurse friend a book calling American Nightingale, a book about Frances Slanger—a WW II nurse. I know my nurse neighbor doesn’t have time cook much, so I gave some apple cookies where I just made to her. And some cookies would go to my next-door neighbor and her family. They were very pleasing. I love my neighbor.

Last night I go to my friend's birthday party. I made some new friend and we talked happily.

Friendship is very importance. Everyone needs friendship. Friendship makes us getting on well with one another to go ahead under different kind of difficulties in the front us. As the saying goes, “Friendship is like sunshine what keeps us warm and helps us grow.” I think it is important for us to making good friends so that we can always have a fun. I like to choose people who are kind, honesty and helpful as my friends. I like to share my thoughts and fears them whenever I get into trouble.
Now I have some good friends who trusts me. I always care about what had happened to them, because I call them once a week. I always go out with my friends, chatting and play. I try to offer some advices to my friends when necessary. In this way I am able to keep friendship.

It has been almost 7 year after graduation since we picked up our friendship. Looking back, I am always grateful for her step up to make up with me. Till now, she had been one of the few people I can trust and count on. Our major offered me the same background so that we supported each other in our profession development. Of course, we had the argument from time to time. But deep down, we both know all the argument is just about helping us to grow into a good individual instead enemies. However, we both learned to be tolerant and brave enough to always forgive. If we really value our friends and friendship, always cherish their presence and showing willingness to maintain and nurture the relationship.
