One year ago, I had a special English lesson hold at the railway station. It was quite different from the regular English classes we were familiar to, for we had no textbooks, no blackboard and no fixed seats.
Gathered at the entrance of the station, we were told to collect many English words and sentences as possible there. Curious and excited, they walked around the station and looked everywhere, searching for any informations in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class would burst into the cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vividly pictures, we could figure out their meaning with ease.
Now, this unforgettable lesson still encourages me to be an active learner where I go.

Hello, everyone! I would like to share my travel experience for you. Last summer, ours school had an exchange programme with an American school, but I took part in it with many classmates. We stay at host families, that gave us an opportunity to learn more about America. The main part of our programme was to experience the school life in the America. Compare with Chinese students, American students were very open and active. Besides, they had less homeworks and fewer exams. During the visit, I made friends with some American students, who were very interesting in Chinese culture. I think the programme is of great benefit to us as well the American students.
My parents always tell me that I should help other when they are in need. And I do which I am told to do. It was Sunday afternoon. Before I was walking to the park, I sudden saw a boy fall off his bike. I hurried to him and helped him up. Since one of his legs were badly hurt, the boy could not stand up for himself. I took him to a nearby hospital at once so that the boy got treat immediately. Then I telephoned his parents and told them about the whole story. They thank me again and again. It was dark and I said goodbye to them. Even though I couldn’t go to the park, but I felt very happy.
Last summer, I climbed the Yellow Mountain with my friends. Everything goes well at first but something terrible happened later. One of my friend suddenly had a stomachache and couldn’t go any farther. They didn’t know what to do and were worried. Just in that moment, two passers-by came up and offered him some hot water. After a while, my friend felt more better, and could walk again, what made us relieved (宽慰的). Final, we arrived at the top of the mountain and had great time there. Tired and happy, we went back with many photos taking during this trip.
Sandy was one of my best friends at high school. At that time, we often spend time together, sharing happy and sadness as well. With her help, I made a great progress in my study. Last year, she decided study abroad. In other words, we would be separating for a long time. Before her leaving, I prepared a gift to show my best wishes to her. But she gave me an English book, that helped me improve my English. Since then, they have kept in touch with each other through e-mails. I think high of the friendship between us and look forward to see her again in the near future.
Charles, an excellent teacher of our school, prefer to fish in his free time. One Sunday morning, I made up my mind go fishing with him at the Sanqing Lake. We took our fishing poles and go straight to the lake. As soon as we arrived at there, we dropped the lines into the water. After waiting for about half a hour, I began to feel boring. I wanted to give up, and he told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there was a sudden pull at the pole and a fish was catching. Within the next few minute, Charles also caught a fish. Feeling hungrily, I built a fire by the lake and ate the fish. It was delicious.
Last Friday I was walking on the road while I suddenly saw a car run at high speed knock down an old lady. She fell to the ground with a cry；therefore，the car didn’t stop but drove off. I took down plate number of the car quick and reported it to the police. Then I rushed to looking over the old lady’s injury and call 120 for help. Several minutes late，an ambulance（救护车）came and took him to the nearest hospital. Thanks to the police，the old lady’s daughter heard from the news. When she arrived at the hospital she thanked me again and again.
Last Sunday, my family went for walk in a nearby park. We wanted to breathe the fresh air and having fun there. However, when gone out, we found it was cloudy and smoggy (烟雾弥漫的). Only a few people were walking quick on the streets wearing their masks. I was wondering what was the matter when my little brother begins to cough loudly. Suddenly I realized that it was air pollution. So we had to go back to home that day. Smoke from cars, buses, and factories make the air dirty, that is harmful to our health. I think they all should do some thing to keep the air clean.
I tried a new lifestyle. I gave up the Internet, but even didn’t watch TV. I thought I would feel very boring. However, I had very different day. I wrote two article that morning. In the past, I always want to write one, but I didn’t have time. While I was separated from the Net and TV, I could devote me to writing. I once read an article, that said that every morning the writer spent two hours write without the Net. At that time, I thought of she was too strict. After I tried the method myself, I found it real worthwhile.
After we moved to a newly country，my three-year-old daughter and I was often alone in our house. Although we lived in the countryside with no close neighbors，I needed to prepare for some possible emergencies. For example，I wanted make sure my daughter would be able to call 911 in case of that something happened to me. After instruct her，I decided to test her. I asked her，"Okay，what will you do if you found me on the floor and you couldn't wake me up？" I could see his little brain working. Then to my surprises，she said，"I would go into the kitchen and eat anything I want." What the naughty girl！
