Last Friday, our class was invited a well-known artist to teach us what to draw flowers in Chinese painting.
As soon as an artist came into the classroom, he was given a warmly welcome. All of us wore big smiles. First, he shows us some skills of drawing a flower. We watched him carefully but each of us tried doing it by ourselves. Finally, because of my excellent performance, I was awarded “Outstanding Young Artist”. Look at the award, I felt very excited.
Through this experience, we are both amazed at Chinese painting and proud being Chinese. We hope we can have more activity of this kind in the future!
On snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what’s worse, the bus runs out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for his help.
I finished my junior middle school in boarding school. At first, I felt very lonely because I hardly know anybody. I couldn’t get on well with my classmates and just looked forward to go back home to meet my parents. I even couldn’t concentrate on my subjects. As time went by, besides, I gradually got used to the school life. I made many new friends or often took part in activities, in that I improved my communicating skills. As I had a lot of interested things to do, I finally enjoyed with my school life. Now, whenever I think of my first boarding school experience, I think of them as being instructive and unforgettably.
Last year, Wang Tao’s school calls on all the students to make good use of their time and do socially practice in the holiday. Wang Tao found a job in the small restaurant. He thought it would be easy, so actually it turned out to be hard. He spent on the whole morning washing dishes and setting tables. He didn’t have lunch until 2 pm. After lunch，he set out to work at once，do the same things until 11 pm. He worked more than ten hour every day! After days of work, she came to understand the value of hard work. He also realized what difficult it was for his parents to support their family. From then on, Wang Tao was determined study hard to repay his parents.
It was extreme cold last Monday morning. While I was walking on my way to school, I noticed two street cleaner sweeping the street. Seeing them work so hard on such a cold morning, I was moved and made up my mind do something for them. After arriving at school, I discussed with some classmates that we could do. The next day, they got up early and prepared porridge (粥) at home. When we handed the cleaners with the hot porridge and expressed our appreciation for their hard work, they looked a little surprising at first. And then they takes the porridge and thanked us happily. Since it was very cold, we all fell warm at that moment.
Last week, my teacher told us about our school’s speech contest, which topic was “My Hero”. I thought of my grandpa would be my perfect topic. Then I carefully prepared for a contest. A couple of weeks late, after the first round I chosen to be one of the seven finalists! The final was held soon. I was the sixth to giving the speech. After I finished it, I saw the; audience discussing and wondered what they were saying. After the last person finished, the judge made their final decisions and announced that I win first prize. The audience were going wildly, clapping and cheering! I was extremely happy. It was such exciting a moment that I would always remember it.
This morning I walked into a small store just for quick look. There I found a little girl hold a large colorful toy. She eager asked her father to buy it for her. However, her father said no to him because he couldn’t afford it, what made the girl sad and disappointed. The girl was accepted her father’s decision and cried in silence. When the father went to the other end of the store to look at something, I asked him whether I could buy the toy and gave it to his daughter. He got surprised for a few minute but finally agreed. I did what I had promised but then left the store.
On a sunny day last month, I was visiting Summer Palace when I came across a little girl standing alone with tear streaming down her face. I walked up to her and offered to help. Thankful, she calmed down and told me what had been happened. She came here to do some sightseeing with her parents and they got separated. Immediately I take her to the broadcasting station. Before hearing the news, her parents rushed here. The girl couldn’t wail to run towards him. The couple thanked me warmly expressing their thanks for my kind help. Seen the family disappear into the distant, I felt very happy.
A thief was caught in a house which he had keen hiding for three months in Kunshan city, Jiangsu province, reports Modern Express on Monday.

Three years ago I failed an important exam in my life and became a student in ordinary school. Even if I felt disappointing at the poorly-equipped classrooms, but I found the teachers patient and kind. Besides f I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided to making the best of it. I worked hard and get along well with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they were always helpfully. Soon, I became one of the top students in my class, that greatly increased my confidence and got him encouraged.
My experience tell me that it is not what you are given but how you make use for it that determines who you are.
