I tried a new lifestyle. I gave up the Internet, but even didn’t watch TV. I thought I would feel very boring. However, I had very different day. I wrote two article that morning. In the past, I always want to write one, but I didn’t have time. While I was separated from the Net and TV, I could devote me to writing. I once read an article, that said that every morning the writer spent two hours write without the Net. At that time, I thought of she was too strict. After I tried the method myself, I found it real worthwhile.
The day, May 16th, is my younger brother's birthday. That afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown, and buy a present for him. Then I took the subway train home. Seating on the train, I thought my brother would be very happy when he saw a present.
At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bag got on the train and stood in front of me. She looked tiring. I didn't hesitate for a moment, but then offered my seat to him. The old lady thanked me for a lot and sat down. I felt joyfully when seeing her smile. I will always ready to help others in the future.
One day, I was studying at home while I heard a loud noise. I went out to see what had happened. What I saw made me scaring. A building was on the fire. Some people were using water put out the fire. A few people jumped out of the window. Besides, those which were still on the second floor were crying for help. The people outside don’t know how to help them. Firefighters arrived at last and we fought the fire bravely. Then the people inside was taken out. They were serious injured and were taken to the hospital at once.
Thanks to the firefighters, the people were saved and the fire was put out at the end.

My hometown is a small mountainous village. In past, with only a narrow mountain road, it was almost separated from the outside world. But villagers lived in old and small house built with wood and leaves.

Because of the new wide road building by the local government, it is now convenient of villagers to travel around. And most importantly, thousands of tourists from all over the world came here every year. Beside, with rows of newly-built houses, villagers’ living conditions have been great improved.
