Yesterday, one of my colleague expressed her wish to reading The Little Prince. This is the five year that we’ve worked together. So I decide to make her wish come true. I went to a bookstore after work to look for book, imagining her reaction when she discovered it on her desk the next morning. The next morning, I arrived early at the office than usual so that nobody would see me secret leaving the book on her desk. This small gesture really made me happy. She thanked for everyone in our office. How a pleasure it is to help her realize her dream!

Last term, nothing were going well in my study. One day, my father suggested we took a walk. While walking, my father said, “I believe there are still many good things to be thankful, no matter what hard life is.” Motivate by his words, I began keeping track of the good things in my life. When the sun rose, I wrote it down on paper and careful put that paper in a box. Each time I wear my favorite dress, and I wrote that down. Mom was cooking while I was playing in my bedroom. All of the sudden, I heard my mom calling me. It was turned out that she asked me to buy some salts at the grocery store. I hesitated for a while. I’m terrible sorry to have missed the first two lessons this morning. I got up early as usually in the morning, but when I was ready to leave I find my bicycle’s front tyre flat. Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shops were open in the early morning. So I had to walk to school, carrying my bicycle all the way. That’s how I was late for school.

Last year I attended an after-school program calling Young at Arts where I learned dancing. My most favorite teacher at Young at Arts was Mrs. Li. She changed the way she looked at life. Before I met Mrs. Li, I wouldn’t dare to trying anything I didn’t think I would be successfully in. Mrs. Li talked with me to help me get through hard times that I was frustrated with not only dancing, but also life. She teach me that my attitude can be important than my talent. The other day, I was invited my friend Sam's home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. It was two month since we two had quarreled, so I was embarrassed and didn't know how to do. I sat down on the sofa but began to watch TV. Later, Sam came to ask me to make up with Bill. Until then I realize that Sam had arranged the dinner on purpose. He went up to Bill and greeted him warmly, smile at him. He looked verb happy and talked with me excited. Today is the happy day in this holiday. Although I was very tired, but I found myself in these busy days. Usual, I am afraid of taking a bus. The awful smell of the bus drives me mad, make me feel carsick. But today I did feel carsick. I could defeat carsickness finally. At night I went out with an old friend I ever liked him, but all of us were so busy with examinations at high school that we hadn't been together. There are lots of experience in our life.The most unforgettable one for me is the speech competition holding last year.I'm interested in English.When my English teacher told me that I had chosen to take part in the speech competition, I devoted me to the preparation.I was determined to win the first prize.I was such nervous when I stood on the stage that I forgot everything.Not until I caught a sight of my teacher did I calm down. Finally, I do a good job.
When I heard I got the first prize, my heart was filled in joy and tears rolled down. Through this speech competition, I understand that it is confidence which makes people successfully.
