One of the happier memories in my childhood was made snowmen with my friends. When I was the little boy, I always go out with my friends to make snowmen. Once we played with snow when it snowed heavy. We divided ourselves into several group, two or three people in each group. Then, each group started to make their own snowman. Our group used up buttons as our snowman's eyes and carrots for its nose. Before we finished our snowman, we compared ours with others' decide which group's snowman was the best. But it rarely snowed these years. How I wish I can make snowmen with those friends this winter!

I work in a public school to help students whom often have difficulty in learning and communicating with. They also feel uncomfortably being a part of the school community. To help us, I created a kindness learning community calling the BCS Group. The group set the goal to write and produce pictures for a book for kindergarten kid on how to be kind. We met our goal of completed the book last month. And we proudly read it to over eight classes so far. We also launched a kindness challenge such that the students could carry out acts of kindness.

In order to celebrated National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, and we had an 8-day holiday. After it, my classmates and I were talking about how to do during the holiday excitedly. Then we decided to go to help the farmers instead of stay at home. As soon as we arrived at farm, we were attracted by the apples hanging on the branches. We couldn't wait to pick the apples, which were the most interesting work. Particular, we were allowed to choose what we liked best and taste them. I once had a bad experience. One day several years ago, I went shop with my friends. As I entered a small shoe store, but I saw two women selecting shoes. Suddenly they raise their voice and began to talk loudly about how beautifully the shoes were and how low the price was. Just then an old couple walked onto the shop. The two women urged her to buy a pair. When the couple left a store with the shoes, I noticed the shop owner give the two women some cashes. He also promised offer them more unless more people bought his shoes.

I remember when one of my classmates brought a thick book to the kindergarten and told us he had read whole book, showing his amazed ability. You can imagine what upset I felt. When I told my mother, she laughed and asked him not to be sad. Shortly, I was given to a big ABC-book. It’s such a nice book which I look it through even now.
My mom always finds time to sit with me and teach me. In a few weeks I learnt to read the name of the shops along the streets. That was one of my more valuable experiences. I have benefited much from books since I was teaching to read that big ABC-book.

One day, I was walking home after school when an old man fell heavy onto the snow- covering road. Many people passed by, and no one took action. During the Spring Festival, my classmates and I visited the Nursing Home in our city. The elderly people here expressed their warm welcome for us arrival. We brought them some fruits and flower. When I was little, Friday’s night was our family game night. After supper, we would play card games of all sorts in the sitting room. As the kid, I loved to watch the cartoons, but no matter how many times I asked to watch them, my parents would not to let me. They would say to me that playing card games would help my brain. Still I unwilling to play the games with them sometimes. I don’t realize how right my parents were until I entered high school. I have many friends, and Lily is one of the best. We have been playing together before we were young. She is such pretty girl that when people meet him, they always say, “Oh, how lovely”. Lily is also very brave. One evening two weeks ago, my mum sent me to buy some salt or sugar downstair. When I was back on the stairway, I sudden saw a black shadow behind me. I was frightening and cried. On that very moment, Lily came. She rushed to the shadow and shouts loudly until it disappeared. Then we ran to home safely.

We live in the countryside. Most of which we see is the beauty of nature. One of the exceptions to the beauty is the litter some people throw out their windows as they are driving on the roads. One of the few drawbacks to living in the countryside is that public service, such as litter collection, are little available than they are closer to the city.
A helping habit that my family practise regularly are picking up litter in our surrounding area. We have become so accustomed to do this that my little brother will often say, “There’s some litter. Daddy, stop the car!” and we would often pull over and pick it up. It may seem strange, and we actually enjoy it. We pick up litter in parks, on sidewalks, practically anywhere. Once I even saw a complete stranger picking up litter close to where we live in. He smiled at me and said, “I saw you doing it, and it seemed like the good idea.”
