In life, we should always care about the people around us, especially those which need help. Helping other not only makes them feel warm but also makes us more responsibly.
Last week I saw an elderly person to fall down on the street, and I quickly run over to help him up. I was busy at that time, and I still decided to help him. The elderly person was very grateful to my help and said he hadn’t met such a kind young man in a long time.
Through this experience, I realize that helping others is a important thing. Each of us should do our part to taking care of the people around us. Only in this way our society become better and more harmonious.

Last summer, I went on the study tour in Mount Tai with a group of students. During one of our hikes, I found myself felt weak and struggling to keep up with the others. As I stop to catch my breath, I started to feel discouraging with myself. But soon I realized that not everyone had their own pace and that it was okay for me to take breaks when I needed it. With this new perspective, I continued the hike with a more positive attitude but was able to appreciate those unique qualities that makes me who I am. When I was a child, I dreamed of go to one of the city’s five best high school. The admission was based only in a student’s performance in a single test. After spending several years struggled to keep up with my classmates, I was final able to meet my academic potential when I change my school. At my new school, teachers were attentive. Yesterday evening I went to the supermarket. When I was about to enter I see an old lady with deformed hands calling me. The other day, we took a family trip to the lively town. After they arrived, my family wandered around in the town. I, therefore, was in no mood to appreciate of the beautiful view. As the saying goes, chances preferred the prepared mind. I learned this from one of my experience.
I was not chosen as member of the volleyball team of our school. Because of this, I decided to give up play volleyball. Lucky, my best friend stopped me but pointed out that it was my laziness and poor preparation which led to my failure. After that, I practiced playing the volleyball every day. When another tryout arrived, I was fully prepared and tried my best. As a result, I was selected and became an important player on our school team.
From this, I am firmly convincing that, no matter when chances arrive, we were able to seize them as long as we get well prepared.
