“Oh, today is Animal Day for the first-graders.” Mr. Harrisjon grinned.

But Kathleen’s reaction was unexpected, crushing my pride with a single question: “Is that the only drawing you did?”

“Well, yes,” I responded sheepishly, “Why?”
