2 . When I was still a child, I read “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” by Ernest Hemingway. Reading it for the first time gave me a strong ______to see this well-known mountain______.

This would be a journey to______: to cross the world’s greatest desert, ______the river that moves through one of the cradles of civilization, and climb the tallest mountain in Africa.

3 . Some dreams take longer to come true than others, but with the help of 21st-century social media and her great-grandson, at the age of 110, one British woman is _________ hers at long last.

5 . Did you ever have a dream, I’m talking about a conscious dream where you would like to see a new future, a different choice of employment and a _______ of your own.

Several years ago I had a dream of _______ a board game (棋类游戏) that would _______ my fortune. After many revisions, the board game was developed. It was a(n) _______ time my dream seemed to come true with sales starting to _______, and my company was also founded.

_______, another new board game came into the _______ and made great progress in sales. Eventually, my company was dissolved (解散). Perhaps for a game developer, the _______ emotions that it never was meant to be will discourage his future dreams of a different life. 7 . Inspiration

“Mama, when I grow up, I’m going to be one of those！” I said this after seeing the Capital Dancing Company perform when I was three. It was the first time that my _______ took on a vivid form and acted as something important to start my training. As I grew older and was _______ to more, my interests certainly varied but that little girl’s dream of someday becoming a dancer in the company never left me. In the summer of 2005 when I was 18, I received the phone call which made that dream a _______：I became a member of the company dating back to 1925.

As I look back on that day now, it surely _______ any sense of reality: I believe I stayed in a state of pleasant disbelief until I was halfway through rehearsals (排练) on my first day. I never actually _______ to get the job. After being offered the position, I was completely astonished. I remember shaking with excitement.

Though I was absolutely thrilled with the change, it did not come without its fair share of_______. Through the strict rehearsal period of dancing six days a week, I found it is that extreme attention to detail and stress on practice that set us _______. 9 . For many years, I had a recurring (重复出现的) dream. I was a little girl again, rushing about, trying to get ready for school.
