We might find ourselves upset or angry with other people, or even find that we argue with them. The reality is that nobody is perfect and we need to realize that we should find ways to live happier and less stressful lives.
Respect other people and accept them
This is the most important point.
We might have friends who are crazy about sports, while we prefer reading. Or perhaps a parent’s hobby seems boring to us but it is something they love. If we want to keep our relationships strong and positive, we should at least take time to listen to them and talk about what matters to them. By doing this, we show them that we care about them and their interests.
Apologize when you make a mistake
This is the hardest thing for most of us to do, yet a simple “I’m sorry” can undo a lot of tension. By being honest when you make a mistake, you can fix any problem you may have caused and show that you are an adult.
So, try and follow the advice from now on, and you will find that you have happier and stronger relationships with your friends and loved ones.

Your carry-on bag
The safest thing to do with your carry-on is leave it on the plane. Flight crews ask you to keep your luggage clear of the aisles (通道) for a reason.
Your seat
During a crash
The first thing you should do during a crash is put on the oxygen mask the minute it drops.
During a loss of cabin pressure, the fall in oxygen can knock you unconscious in as little as 20 seconds.
Listen to your flight attendants. Most importantly, through any emergency, be nice to the flight attendant.
What to wear
Fortunately, here’s what you can plan for days in advance while you pack your suitcase: on the day you’re flying, avoid wearing synthetic fibers like polyester and nylon. Instead, choose natural materials like cotton or wool. It’s also a good idea to wear long pants (like jeans) and a long-sleeved shirt for extra protection from flames and sharp objects.
Sippers might seem like a good idea for braving airport security, but in the chaos of a crash or evacuation, they’ll only slow you down.
A.You can narrowly escape from an air crash. |
B.Always secure your oxygen mask before helping others. |
C.Good mentality (心态) of a pilot is a necessity for safe flight. |
D.Besides, the best shoes to wear on a plane never leave your feet. |
E.The safest way to dress on a plane is avoid anything easy to catch fire. |
F.In the event of an evacuation, you don’t want it blocking an escape route. |
G.In the event of an evacuation, the closer you are to an exit, the higher the chance you’ll have to escape safely. |

Great Springs
At 5,550 acres, Hot Springs National Park is the smallest national park in the United States. People have been coming to the area for hundreds of years to enjoy its natural hot baths. Starting in the 19th century, several bathhouses that offered baths with spring water opened in the region. Many visitors with illnesses went there, believing that the waters could help cure (治愈) them.
The area became a national park in 1921. People aren’t allowed to take baths directly in the springs. But you can still visit the one bathhouse that remains in operation at the park. You can also drink the spring water from special fountains (喷嘴式饮水器) around the park. And don’t worry about burning your tongue. When the water flows from the ground into the pools, it’s very hot. But it cools before reaching the park’s baths and fountains.
Home at Hot Springs
Besides the springs, visitors to the park can also see some pretty cool wildlife. Sounds like there are a lot of ways to have fun at Hot Springs National Park!

He decided to hang around for a few weeks in the hope that it would reopen. He considered some of the emergency evacuation flights back home to America, but found them to be very expensive. Days turned into weeks, then months, and still Kata waited.
He made the best of his time. He rented a small apartment in the town and passed the time taking daily yoga classes, teaching local children how to box, and studying for various fitness and sports nutrition certification exams. He was working towards his goal of opening his own gym back home in America.
Finally, after earning the nickname “the last tourist in Peru”, Kata’s patience paid off. On October 11, he derived special access to Machu Picchu and allowed to enter the ancient site with the country’s culture minister, Alejandro Neyra, and a handful of guides.
It’s an example of slow travel — travel so slow, in fact, that Kata didn’t even go anywhere except to the village at the foot of the Andean Mountains. Rather than rush off on an emergency flight, Kata accepted that sudden slow pace of life and made the best of it, simply fitting into the local community and putting in time. He must have gotten to know Peruvian village life better than he ever imagined-and gained so much more in the process than if he’d taken the quick and easy route home.
