Dear Tom,
I haven’t heard from you for a long time. What is everything going with you? To be honest, I amnot used the food here and the weather always makes me uncomfortably. Therefore, I find that difficult to concentrate on my studies. The new teachers are friendly and they speak so fast that I can’t quite understand them. This often discourages from me in class. What’s bad, I always feel lonely after school. I really want to go back to my previous school, studied together with you.
I was very worried, Can you give me some advices? I'm looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Jack

It was late when we left the restaurant. We have already crossed a long bridge when I discovered I had left my purse at the restaurant. It was nothing we could do but to turn around. There was no chance we could return to the restaurant before the closing time. Then we remembered a friend of ours who lived six block from a restaurant. He listened to our story carefully but then he promised he would run over to the restaurant, that my purse had been left. Finally, we recovered the purse. Our friend sounded delightedly to have been a part of this little adventure. Beside finding the lost purse, I also had a sense of great happiness.

My uncle drove his car meet his friends. When he found there was still some time leaving before the train had arrived, he wanted to take a short sleep. He was falling sleep when a woman came and asked him the time. He opened his eye and answered,“Half past eight.” With a “Thank you!” a woman left. On a short while this happened again. So my uncle wrote “I don’t know the time” on a piece of paper and put them on the window of the car. A few minutes late, an old man came and woke him up, “Hi, young man. I can tell you that time it is. It’s nine o'clock now.”
When I was a little kid, I dreamed of keeping on a dog. My parents disagreed, saying that I was too young that I couldn't take care of myself, let alone a dog. I didn't give up. Instead, I tried to be independence and often helped with housework. A few month later, my parents found that I had become considerate than before. They finally approve of my request. On my eight birthday, they bought me a lovely dog as the gift. Followed my parents' directions, I've learned how to raise the dog. I still miss those days that we accompanied each other.
