If you go to France(法国), it’s a good idea to visit Uzes. It is a lovely town in the south of France.

Uzes is not big. It is only about 25.41 square kilometers(平方公里)in size. There are over 9,000 people living in it and most of them are farmers. Uzes has a long history of more than 1,000 years. You can find both old stone houses and fine modern houses there. You will have fun walking on the street or having some coffee in the coffee shops.

Uzes is famous for making cloth(面料). Do you like shopping? Go there on Wednesdays or Saturdays. There is a market in the center of the town. You can find beautiful cloth, nice local food and many other things at the market. Don't miss them.

Children will love this small town, too. Why? Because there is a candy company(公司) and a sweets museum waiting for them.

Some children are afraid（害怕）to go to the dentist (牙医), but not me. I’m a boy of 8 and I have a funny dentist. His name is Dr. Smileyface. I don’t think that’s his real name. But when the children go to see him, he tells his name to all of them. He has a cool waiting room. It has computer games and a big toy box. Dr. Smileyface always wears funny hats. Sometimes he paints his face. He asks funny questions like “Are you married（结婚）?” and “Do you eat flowers to make your breath (呼吸) smell so sweet?” That makes me laugh. One time, he tells me this joke, “What has lots of teeth but never goes to the dentist? A comb (木梳) ! ” When I laugh, he pulls（拔）my tooth out. It doesn’t hurt at all! He also tells me how to take care of my teeth in an interesting way. Before I leave, he always gives me a surprise. This time he gives me a toy ship and I like it very much.

When we buy a house, we all want to have nice neighbours（邻居）, because most of us think that it is helpful to live with some good neighbours. But what kind of neighbour is good? The answers are different from people to people. Here are my answers.

First, it is very important to respect (尊重) each other. If our neighbour tries to know more about our life, what will we feel? He or she may also talk with others about our life. Do you want to live with him or her? The answer is “No”. We will feel very sad to have this kind of neighbour and move away quickly.

Next, a good neighbour is always ready to give us a hand when we need him or her. For example, if we are not at home, our good neighbour will watch our house for us.   

Finally, a good neighbour should love the environment (环境). He or she never puts rubbish here and there. Good neighbours should keep the place clean, because the good environment can make us comfortable（舒适）and happy.

I think we all should learn to be good neighbours, and I also hope everyone will have good neighbours and live a happy life.

Dogs like living with people. They are very friendly. They can do many things for people.

There is a kind of dog. His name is Seeing Eye dog. Now we can see this kind of dog all over the world. They are working for the blind. The Seeing Eye dog is strong and easy to train(训练). He helps the blind to walk from place to place. Before a dog becomes a Seeing Eye dog, he must go to a training school for about three months. First, the dog has to learn to sit or stay when he hears the trainer’s call. In his next lesson, the dog learns to take his trainer(训练员) across busy streets. The dog has many things to learn. At the end of the training school, he must take tests(测试). When he passes(通过)the test, the Seeing Eye dog will do things by himself.

Now he can help the blind people. The new master may be a man, a woman, or even a child. It takes the dog and his blind master about a month to learn to work and live together.
