文章大意:本文讲述了二手书店的所在地Hay-on-Wye不仅是威尔士的一个小镇,它也是一个书籍的天堂。
【推荐3】Answer the following questions (根据短文内容回答下列问题)

Books in the castle, bookshelves on the streets and a surprising number of little bookstores... Well, this is not a place in a fairy tale. Instead, it is Hay-on-Wye, a town in Wales.

This little town wasn’t changed into a wonderland for book lovers suddenly. The idea was born in 1961. After hearing that a few libraries in the United States were closing down, a man called Richard Booth managed to get plenty of old books. He opened Hay-on-Wye’s first second-hand bookshop in an old firehouse. Soon, many other people in the town opened their own bookshops, too. By the 1970s, the Welsh town had become a town of books.

Today, every year in early June, the Hay festival is held in Hay-on-Wye to celebrate a shared love for books. It attracts book lovers, writers and artists from all over the world. But there is no need for you to worry if you are travelling to Hay-on-Wye with someone who doesn’t love books. The town has a lot to offer other than books. There are many antique shops. You may find things such as old maps and nice handicrafts in them.

2. Did the town change into a place for book lovers suddenly?
