English can be changed by borrowing words from other languages. The word"tomato"was borrowed from Mexico and"tea"came from China and so on. Now new space and science words are being borrowed from other countries, too. New words can be formed by adding two words together."countryside"and"earthquake"are made up of two parts. Sometimes new words are shorter forms of old words. The word"photo" was made from"photograph"by cutting off the end of the longer word."Plane"was made by cutting off the front part of"airplane". The names of people and products can become new words, too. Our"sandwich"was named after a man called Sandwich and"sellotape"(透明胶带) was a name given by the company that first made the product.

Li Jiaxin, 30, started her own business two years ago, forming a team in Beijing. “I wasn’t satisfied with my old job, so I chose to be a decluttering consultant as most of my friends have said that I’m good at tidying things up.”
Li finds joy in decluttering. “One of my customers, in her 20s, once came to me and said that her messy room was giving her a sense of bad feeling,” Li recalled. After we discussed the decluttering plan, it took the team three days to finish the work.
They started by emptying all the cupboards, finding the objects the customer really needed and clearing out the rest. They also added more boxes to better classify (分类) things. “There were so many clothes that we had to sit on the floor during our lunch break as this was the only free space,” Li said.
After the work was done, the customer was surprised to see that there was more space in her house. “It was then that I realized our work wasn't only about organizing things-we bring brighter feelings to customers and let them wake up every morning with a better view,” Li added.
These days there is no recognized certificate (资格证) for decluttering consultants. Although some may believe that this job has a low requirement, Li argues that understanding design and art is necessary. This knowledge helps the decluttering consultant quickly come up with a plan. Being able to deal with unexpected situations is also important for decluttering consultants.

The rock is popularly known as“Krishna's Butter Ball,” which means a favorite food, butter, fallen from the sky. The rock is 20 feet high and five meters in diameter(直径), and weighs over 250 tons. It 1ooks like it might slip(滑落) any moment and run down the hill, but it has stayed that way for several centuries now
Some say the rock is a natural formation(形成), but scientists think that's impossible because natural corrosion(腐蚀) couldn't produce such an unusual shape. Others, think that the rock might have been placed there by Gods from the sky, or the aliens who visited Earth thousands of years ago.
One of the earliest known attempts(尝试) to move the rock was made by Narasimhavarman, a Pallava king who ruled Southern India from 630 to 668 C. E. The strongest of his men could not move it at all. More recently, in 1908, Governor of Madras Arthur Lawley decided that he wanted to get rid of(除掉) the rock, fearing that it would slide down the hill. He used seven elephants to do the task, but much to his surprise, it did not budge.
