Artificial intelligence is often considered as something from the future. We might think of intelligent computer networks that try to destroy humans, or robots that can feel human emotion.
But in fact, AI is already here—and many of us benefit from it every day. It might not be as exciting as the al of science fiction, but it is much more useful.
Probably the best example of this would be voice-activated virtual assistants(声控助手). Siri, created by Apple, came out in 2011. It won over Apple fans with its ability to recognize a user’s voice and de certain things without the user having to do anything. For example, you can tell Siri “call mom” or “set a timer for10 minutes”, and the software will automatically(自动地) do these things for you.
Over time virtual assistants have become more sophisticated(复杂的). can be used to order food, schedule(安排)meetings, and even control the lights in your home.
But how will we use AI in our daily life in the future? The possibilities seem quite endless. Perhaps the most exciting possibility is driverless cars.
Researchers have been working on self-driving cars for quite some time now. The first automated car was developed in 1977 by Japan. It was able to track street markers by using two cameras and a computer. Since then, dozens of companies have tried to develop their own cars, Developments like these are a sign that AI will become increasingly popular in our daily life in the future.

When we are studying, we must put our hearts into the book. We cannot read absent-mindedly(心不在焉地), or we could get nothing from the book while we are reading.
We must always ask “why”. If we can’t understand well, write it down and ask our teachers or parents, brothers or friends, in any possible ways. We must know it completely and then our knowledge can be used well.

The World Wide Web(www.万维网)turned 25 years old on March 12th. It has become a very important part in our daily lives. We can’t imagine living without the web, the short form of the World Wide Web.
In 1989, a British engineer named Tim Berners-Lee came up with the idea of the Web. It is a group of “pages” of information that are connected to each other around the world. That is the very beginning of the Web. Since then, the Web has greatly changed the way people live. With a click(点击)of a mouse we can read news, buy things, make friends and learn anything we’re interested in.
Now, 25 years after its birth, how will the Web influence life in the future? Scientists believe there are both advantages and disadvantages. w W w .x K b 1.c o M
A growing Web will help build “better relationships” between different cultures. Also in the future, everyday items could be connected to the Web. We could share plenty of information to make our daily lives more convenient(方便的). So one day in the future, your front door could send you a message. “Dear sir, everyone has left the house, but I’ m still open!”
But scientists warn(警告)us that if we share personal information on the Internet it could get into the wrong hands.
“It’s not wise to spend a whole day in front of the screen. People need to get close to nature and enjoy the sun. Never be controlled by the Internet.” said Berners-Lee.
