Many people know about Edinburgh. It is a city with over ten festivals. Most of the festivals take place in August. Perhaps the biggest of those is the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The Fringe is the world’s largest performing (表演) art festival, and it came about in 1947. Eight theater companies wanted to join in the first Edinburgh International Festival that year. However, they didn’t have invitations (邀请) to perform.

Every coin has two sides. Robots can be good to our society and life. At the same time, they also have some bad effects on our daily life. In my opinion, the advantages of robots are more than the disadvantages.
First, robots make our life more convenient. We can do many things that we didn’t have the ability to do in the past by using robots. That makes our daily life more effective.
Second, robots can be used in industry. Factories can reduce the cost of production by using robots. Robots do not need to eat and they will not be ill. That’s very good for producing goods.
Third, robots can save more people when a disaster happens. Because they can’t feel pain and they can save more people without feeling tired.

Chinese tea culture started to be popular during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and boomed throughout the Song Dynasty. In the Song Dynasty, tea was necessary for almost everyone, from nobles (贵族) to common people, just like rice, oil and salt, as suggested by Song politician and thinker Wang Anshi.
In the Song Dynasty, the popular way of having tea was through dian cha. It begins with pouring water over fine powdered (粉状的) tea, creating a paste (糊), and then adding more hot water, whisking (搅动) it by hand with a bamboo whisk.
Han Zheming, the 40-year-old master of dian cha, said, “It is similar to the foam (泡沫) on top of a cup of coffee, but it is made of tea instead of milk.”
The emperor’s book, Treatise on Tea, described the details of tea-whisking. In the eyes of people of that time, good tea should be white and fine, Han explained. The better the tea, the whiter it should be, and the longer the foam should last.
It is believed that the art later spread to other parts of East Asia, including Japan. In 2019, it was listed as an intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) of Runzhou district, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu.
