1 . China covers large areas and has a great population. Different living habits have always been an interesting topic in the country. Recently, another difference between southern Chinese and northern Chinese became a hot one: the way people shop at markets.
People from southern China say that they always buy what they need for just one or two meals. It is normal for them to buy half of a Chinese cabbage, two potatoes and 0.25 kilograms of beef at a time.
However, one may be laughed at if he does this in the north. Instead, buying vegetables and meat enough for a week is usual. Also, you can buy a small amount (数量) of fruit, such as a single apple or pear, each time in the south. Shop owners even help you peel and cut them. But shop owners in the north hardly offer such service. And many fruits are sold in baskets and boxes.
The difference could be due to the different weather.
Food can be kept for a long time in the north, as it is usually cold and dry there. Many northern Chinese have the habit of storing food, especially for the long winter. But the hot and wet weather in the south makes southern Chinese buy just enough food for one meal or one day, or else the food may go bad.

D.they live far away from markets
4. The underlined words "due to" mean "_________" in Chinese.

5. Which is the best title for the passage?

B.Different Living Habits in China

According to the latest report from the China Internet Network Information Center, 421 million Chinese people use online food delivery services. That’s just half of the total number of Internet users in China.

10 . If you look at the top of your phone, you’ll usually see a little symbol that says 3G or 4G. The “G” stands for the “generation” of your mobile network. But these symbols will become things of the past after 5G nteworks fully arrive.

On March 30th, 2019, the first 5G video was made on a Huawei Mate X smart phone, CGTN reported. Shanghai has also become the first city in China to start testing 5G networks.

5G will be about 100 times faster than 4G networks. But 5G won’t just bring faster mobile internet. People can use it for many other things as well. For example, 5G will help to make self-driving cars safer. Today’s self-driving test cars have one problem—lag(延迟). When the car “sees” an object, it sends this information to a data (数据) center and receives instructions.

However, it takes time to send and receive this information. With this kind of lag, the cars might hit something because they don’t receive instructions in time. With 5G, this lag will be greatly lowered, making the cars safer, according to CNN.

5G could also be used to power the Internet of Things(IOT,物联网). This refers to a large online network that connects all things and people. Fast Internet speed will be the most important to develop this technology.
