4 . Last winter holiday, I visited a village with only houses. Although the village was very small, I spent a whole day in it.

The village became popular because of Grandpa Huang’s hard work. He bought a house there over 30 years ago, but in 2010 the village was to be pulled down. In order     1     save the old village. After two months’ hard work, I won the third       8     (奖项), I was so proud of myself. Then the next month, two teachers and a       9     (导游) took us to Beijing by train. We saw many       10     (古老) buildings. We had fun at Happy Valley and ate many kinds of Beijing snacks. I really had a good time in Beijing.

The experience is unforgettable. It proves that you can get what you want if you work hard.
