3 . ①It is true that people with better education are usually able to get better-paid jobs. In other words, they have more chances to choose a good job while people with little or no education don’t.

②It seems that the purpose of education is to make people get jobs. But this isn’t accepted by all people. Some people may think that a person should spend the best years of his life getting education only for a way of living. This was probably one of the earliest reasons of education. In fact, if education is just a way of making a living, people don’t need to spend so much time at school. People can get education for a living in a short time. Subjects like history and geography need not be taught to everyone. Even language and maths need not be taught in detail（详细地）either. Here it is clear that education is much more than teaching a man to get a way of living.

7 . When I was little, my mother sold flowers at Camden Market in London. She couldn’t leave me at home on my own, so I had to go along with her. As I grew older, I began to give my mom a hand and I really enjoyed it.

Things changed when I was 14. My grandma gave me a book as a birthday gift. It was all about making candles. As a young girl, I loved it so much that I spent all my free time making candles of all shapes and sizes. I made hundreds of them.

One day, my mother was ill, so I had to go to the market by myself. I decided to take some candles with me and see if I could sell them. To my surprise, they were sold out in 20 minutes! I did it the next week and next.

Nine months later, we decided to stop selling flowers. My mom and I couldn’t make enough candles during the week, so some of my school friends started to help us. Then we sold them on the weekends.

When I was 22, my uncle lent me some money and I opened my first shop. Since then, I’ve never looked back, even in difficult times. At the first store, we only sold candles, but now we run a much bigger business-almost everything from furniture to paintings.

Snow White Romance The film is made according to the 1937 Disney animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. In the beginning, it was planned for March 2021 release, but now is expected in 2022 at the earliest because of coronavirus.

Is there someone you hate? Well, maybe you don't really hate them. But you get really angry every time you think of them. If you don't let this anger go, it can turn into bitterness (痛苦).

Bitterness appears when we can't forgive (原谅) someone who has hurt us or made us angry. Someone might say or do something that hurts us. But instead of controlling the anger, we keep it deep inside. Before long, a bitter feeling begins to grow. We may think we're hurting that person by criticizing (指责) him or her often,   but we're really only hurting ourselves.

Bitterness can not only lead to serious health problems such as heart disease, but also hurt our relationships with friends and family members. No one enjoys being around an angry person for very long.

If you see bitterness in your life, here are some ways to deal with it.

● Accept it

Instead of trying to deny (否认) your anger, make it clear to yourself and accept it. See your anger for what it is and quickly deal with it.

● Stop making excuses for it

You may feel you have a right to be angry. You may think you're right and the other person is wrong. You may even secretly enjoy making the other person look bad. But in the end, bitterness hurts you much more than the other person. The bitterness will hold you back, and the other person will go on with his or her life.

● Forgive and forget it

You probably can't completely put the anger out of your mind. But you can decide to forgive others. Forget it and move on. You'll enjoy better health and peace of mind.
