I love sports. My friends and I often play football in my out-of-class activities. Today I finish my PE test. As a boy I was joined in two parts, the long jump and the 1000m race. I was better at the 1000m race, where took me 5 minutes and 20 seconds. But I didn’t do well at the long jump. I only jumped 4.5 meter. I love sports so much because they can not only make my body stronger, and also let me keep optimistic all the time. While exercised, I can get a strong sense of successful. Our annual sports day, held earlier this month, was full fun and excitement. The entirely school, including the playground, was decorated with flags and flowers. Many boys and girls took part in the event. The games have included football and basketball matches, races, jumps and other track event. I took part in the 50m and 100m races or received a silver cup in the former. The 100m race, which was very excited, was won by my friend Mansoor. My friend Rajat gets the first place in the long jump. But my classmate Lucy fell and injured himself during the high jump. The event came to the close with the distribution of prizes, which was given away by our headmaster.

Last Saturday was the day where No.2 Senior High School organized a friendly football match between the students and the teachers with the intend of enriching their school life.
Bathed in the sunshine, the students from Grade Three competed over their teachers on the football field, with some other students watch the match cheerfully.Both teams were playing hard in highly spirits. The match met their expectation because he was going on wonderfully. Finally, either of the teams gets two goals.
Tiring the competition might be,it meant the lot to the students and the teachers. The thrilling game was sure to help relieve the students’ intense pressure were caused by their heavy study tasks.

Last Friday's afternoon witnessed the annual English Speech Contest at school, which was such great that many students thought highly of it. Over twenty students took the part in the competition. As the competition began, participants gave speech and answered a few questions for judges. In the last hour, three participants in the final competed fiercely, offer excellent performances. The results came out soon and the winners awarded.
The competition is really meaning and inspirational. Actually, it is not just a simple competition and an important platform where students can express them in English and build up their confidence in English learning.

As we all know, sports play an important role in children lives. Children who competes in a sport will learn how to deal with stress. This is because even though they work hardly to master the skills needed for a sport, but it does not mean they will always win. Sports also help children see that foolish cheating is. In sports, it is no use pretending to fall down or being hurt, because in the end, the audience will see through it. Taking active part in sports event is fun but not always easy. Our school held the fifth annual sports meeting last week. As sports lover, I signed up with long-distance running. That was the first time I have taken part in long-distance running, so I didn’t have experiences. With encouragement from my teacher and classmates, and I gathered strength and final stood on the starting line.
When the starting gun sounded, I set out with other runners. Although I fell behind, I didn’t lost heart. Instead, I kept on running until I arrived at the finishing line.
Take part in the sports meeting provided myself with a great opportunity. Now I am more confidence about myself.

I was happy enough with that I was doing. In the fall of 2021, I got interesting in changing up my game. This time around, I wanted to focus on getting strong than ever before and building muscles. I had been moved to a building near a park, and in October I begin running around the lake in the park twice a day. That was approximately 4 mile in total. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily running became, and by the effect just running had for my body. Running had great impact on both my mental and physical healthy.

This week I took part in a knowledge competition on the Silk Road held in our school, which gave me a great sense for achievement. On Monday, a poster, which announced the competition, attracting my attention. I immediately sign up for it. A few days later, I participated the first round of the competition, a difficult written test. Since there were a many competitors, I succeeded in entering the final. It was held this morning and on the stage in the hall, I answered most of the questions accurate. When interviewing by the school TV station, I expressed my proud in our splendid culture. The competition not only broadened my knowledges but also encouraged me to learn more about our own culture in the future.

Last year I went to Canada to study as a international student. At school we did many team sports such as like soccer, baseball and basketball. At that time, my favorite team sport were basketball and I was good for it. I play basketball two days a week on Wednesdays and Fridays. I also went swimming at school. Hello, everyone! It’s my great honor to talk with the benefits of Taichi, my favorite physical activities.
To begin with, Taichi helped stretch our muscles, improves our body’s range of movements and makes us to have a lower risk of diseases. What’s more, Taichi can help us get over negative feelings whatever we feel sad.
But as for me, a year of practising Taichi has positive effect on my everyday life. I sleep well at night and I am more energetic during the day. Besides, Taichi has taught us to relax my mind, enabling me to stay calmly in stressful situations. I am sure I’ll continue to practise Taichi but enjoy the benefits it has brought me.
