1 . There he was, turning the corner of Hawley and Main Street like clockwork. His red hair seemed to catch the sunlight, giving his head a soft candle-flame glow. 3 . Biking through my PhD

Overcoming my initial struggles in the Netherlands to start my PhD has been like riding a bike.
