Sensory & Mobility ConsiderationsLight, noise and crowds vary widely throughout the building. Please feel free to bring your own noise-canceling headphones or other calming items. All spaces in the center are wheelchair accessible. All floors are accessible by elevator or stairs.
● Parking & RestroomsAccessible parking spaces are available on the three floors of the Science Center parking lot. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is $15 per vehicle.
All the restrooms here are wheelchair accessible. Private family style restrooms are available upon request, please see any Guest Services Host.
● Wheelchairs & Service AnimalsStandard manual wheelchairs are available for free at the Information Desk, used inside the California Science Center.
Service dogs trained to do work or perform specific tasks for a guest with a disability are welcome in all of the Science Center spaces. Emotional animals and pets are not permitted.

Our Bilingual (双语的) Guest Services and Education staff members wear buttons indicating languages in which they are fluent. In addition, the Information Desk offers maps in six different languages.
● Audio GuidesAudio guides in both English and Spanish are often available for special exhibits. For special exhibits with audio guides, transcripts are available at the entrance to the exhibit upon request.

7 . Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre serves as an open-air theatre focusing on the work of Shakespeare.
Highlights
Not only does the Globe Theatre host many performances throughout the Summer months, but it also hosts guided tours of the playhouse. During the tours, visitors are educated on the construction, the design and the rise and fall of the Globe. Another highlight includes Shakespeare’s Globe Exhibition, which educates visitors on Shakespeare’s life, as well as where he lived in London.
Depending, on when you visit, there may also be some short exhibitions inside the playhouse, which range from historical to art exhibitions.
Special Tips
• If you want to avoid large crowds, try to avoid watching performances between May and August as it can get busy. If you plan on going on a tour, the 9:30 a.m. tours are usually the quietest.
• If you plan on sitting on any of the wooden benches during a performance. It may be a good idea to rent a seat cushion for $1 as the benches can get quite uncomfortable after you sit for longer periods of time.
• Make sure you check the weather forecast before you book your tickets. The use of umbrellas is not allowed, so make sure you have an extra raincoat and warm shoes, just in case. If you’re worried about standing in the rain, there are seats available that are protected under a sound roof.
Ticket Prices and Opening Hours
Due to the fact that the Globe is an open-air theatre, performances are only held from mid-April to mid-October.
Tickets for opera performances cost £10 per person (for standing) or £26-879 (for seating), while tickets for comedy shows cost £10 per person (for standing) or £25-£35 (for seating).

8 . Programs Allow You to Explore Canada and Learn French
Are you open to exploring Canada for a few weeks, meeting new friends, learning French and participating in unforgettable worthy adventures? Are you looking for something longer-term where you can dive deep into another language and culture? Explore Programs may be right for you!
Explore Programs
Offered during every summer and every winter to people with any level in French, Explore Programs are language programs which allow you to discover another area of Canada while learning French. There is a three-week Explore (aged 13 to 15) program and an Explore program if you’re a 16-year-old or older student.
Fees
The three-week Explore program: $2,000(taxable income).
The Explore program: $2,800 (taxable income).The fee covers the major expenses for participating in the program: tuition, teaching materials,workshops, accommodations, and most of your activities. Aside from personal spending (on snacks or souvenirs, etc.), you will need to pay registration fees and travel expenses.
Eligibility Criteria (资格标准)
In order to qualify for Explore Programs, you must:
——be a Canadian citizen(those studying in Canada on a student visa are not eligible);
——meet the age limits by the time your Explore course begins;
——have been a full-time student for at least one term during the present school year.
There are no grade or language skill requirements for the programs. However, you must have met all of the above criteria for the entire duration of the program. Usually, the application should be finished before February 15, 2019. However, for the Explore program: applications after February 16 will still be considered on condition that there are still places available.

Kid-made Bird Feeder
