3 . First of all, an advertisement has to be powerful and attract people’s attention. You need a strong image (形象) that is eye-catching, a catchy slogan, a joke or something shocking. In advertising we talk about the AIDA method. A is for attention. I is for interest. D is for desire (渴望). A is for action. An ad needs to do more than just get our attention. It also has to be effective. It must get us interested, make us want the product and motivate us to go out and buy it.

Many of the adverts that we see today are short stories telling inspirational tales that are often amusing, humorous and highly-developed. People do not want to remember that life can be boring. Many people talk about advertisements that are exciting and interesting. But for me, an immediately recognisable logo (标识) is really important. Good logos have been built up so they are recognisable. Part of what makes a good advert is a clear symbol that people immediately identify with the company. A good slogan also helps you make a connection. The real thing makes you think of Coca-Cola immediately. It’s also important to ensure that your slogan does not end up bothering(烦扰) everyone.

5 . Many people like to watch TV. Watching TV is one of the most important (重要的) activities (活动) of the day. TV brings the outside closer to people’s homes. Some people say the world is smaller than before — because of TV.

What’s going on in the other countries? How do people live in places far away? Is there a good sports game somewhere (某个地方)? What’s the life like in the deepest (最深的) part of the sea?

If you want to answer these and other kinds of questions, just turn on the TV. Turn it on and watch. You can see a lot and learn a lot. Of course, people can also learn through (通过) reading or listening to the radio. But with TV they can learn better and more easily. Why? Because they can hear and watch, too.

TV helps to open our eyes. TV also helps to open our minds (思想). TV often gives us new ideas. We learn newer and better ways of doing something.

The Bulgari Hotel has many child-friendly rooms and activities to keep the kids busy：a swimming pool, a cinema, PlayStations, Xbox and lots of other games. The Bulgari spa is spread over two stories. Rosewood is within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions. From the outside, the building is large and impressive with an elegant courtyard designed for horse-drawn carriages (四轮马车). 10 . Chinese New Year 2022 in London event programme

Follow CNY London on social media channels for online celebrations from 31 January to 6 February 2022. Usually, every year, hundreds of thousands of people pour into the West End to enjoy a colourful parade, free stage performances, dragon or lion dancing and traditional Chinese food. But this year special online activities have replaced the canceled parade, live performances and events.
