Last week, a group of foreign students visited our school to gain a deeply understanding of our tea-drinking culture. First, I introduced the history of tea-making or different kinds of tea in the tea room, what interested them. Then I showed him how to make tea. I sat at a table, explain every step. Greatly amazed, they couldn't wait to have try themselves. When their turns came, they became exciting to make their own tea. They had a lot of funs, practising and enjoying the tea. In the end, we take a group photo, with cups in our hands, to record of this unforgettable experience.

Carnival (狂欢节) is a joyous season in February and March in many countries. During this time, colourful street parties, festivals and parades took place over several weeks. This is before a season of Lent (四旬斋), that comes just before the Easter celebrations. For people in many north countries, carnival means the time of pass from darkness to light.
In many countries in South America, people who take part carnival celebrations wear colourful clothes but enjoy themselves all night long. The big carnival celebration in the world is held every year in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Tens of thousands of visitor from around the world come to this city to admire it a huge street parade and huge carnival floats.

On Monday morning some classmates and I heard an activity on Chinese paper culture will be held in the City Museum. Interested in it, both of us signed up immediately. The activity started on Saturday with a visit to the museum. Guiding by the guide we learned about the history of paper and process of papermaking. The book I’m reading of talks about afternoon tea in Britain. It is said to have started in the early 1800’s.
