Of all the pastimes (消遣) that the Chinese     1     (bring) to a fine art since the dawn of civilization, tea drinking is one of the most typical and it requires     2     highly trained mind as well as palate (味觉)    3     (appreciate) it to the full.

"I was completely drawn by the beauty of these clothes, and then     3     (eventual) came to understand the culture of Hanfu, and I liked it more and more."

Tight-knit Hanfu communities and university clubs often meet up for themed     6     (activity). Zhang and her friends sometimes visit places with ancient architecture, like Beijing's Forbidden City,     7     emperors once lived, to take photos in costume and post them on social media.

The Hezhen is one of the smallest minorities in China. Early Hezhen people developed methods     1     producing clothes, bedding and thread out of fish skin. But over time, there has been a loss of Hezhen culture, including     2     (make) clothing from the skin of fish. Besides, few young Hezhen wanted to learn the skill. Fish-skin clothing is also not     3     Hezhen people wear today.

Knowing this, You Wenfeng, a now 68-year-old woman, started to share her knowledge with local Han Chinese women in the 1990s. In the US, people rarely wear slippers around the house. Most of the time, we walk around our homes     4    socks or even barefoot. The best time to see beautiful lanterns is during the Lantern Festival,     1     falls on the 15^th day of the first lunar month. This year it is on Feb.8, marking the end of Spring Festival . However, because of the COVID, we had to stay at home this year.

Americans think time is money. They say,You only get so much time in this life；you'd better use it     1     (wise).
